I was one of posters who criticised the team for their performance in Laois last ,which I believe was warranted. So to be even handed I have to say that last nights performance, way a job well done. Hope we now drive on and build on this.

These forums would be a complete waste of time if posters hadn't the liberty to be able to critic games be it positively or negatively. Everyones opinion is of equal weight on this forum and the debate over opinions is fantastic.

Speaking of Jamie's 2nd yellow - what are the opinions of Cifford's 2nd yellow today??
If you’re opponent is on a yellow you send a player on to wrestle with him to the ground then the referee is stupid enough to fall for it so he hands out the two cards one resulting in a red for Kerry’s best player. Cynical from Tyrone but the referee and umpires who seen it all has to be able to see through it all

Didn’t look like Clifford started it
What’s the umpire writing down? Looks like he’s got a full set of cards w

Umpires at that level are now supposed to be referees to a certain standard Pat. I'd imagine Clifford is in more trouble than a two card red though to be honest. Did you notice the umpire flinch and grimace almost as if he expects to be smacked? I'm thinking of the infamous incident when Joe McQuilan shit himself after geezer "had a word". Didn't he get 10 or 12 weeks in the stand?

One of the many issues with the Clifford issue is that the TV pictures do not appear to show the entire incident
Most certainly it appears to be a ploy by Tyrone by having the new sub on to be involved with an already yellow carded player.
The play acting by Tyrone players is something else - they must do some serious training on this aspect of their game.

McShane is over rated and will be found out this year
Clifford is a superb talent and on a harder surface he would have excelled

Ever since our game with Mayo last year additional time has been.proper.
We had two additional five mins on Saturday night which was about right

There was an.incident on Saturday night where.the kildare player was down.holding his head. Their doctor came on and was doing some checks and once his own teammates moved the ball on he was away like a rabbit
Head injuries on the pitch should mean the player comes off and can rejoin at the next break in.play. easy to follow and implement.

Sorry Niall, but a Tyrone neighbour who was at the game said that Clifford was pulled, turned and then dragged down Said it was a massive shame as the game was great up until that point, but Kerry just about gave up after that. I had watched the game today and wasn't sure what had happened as the tv footage didn't really show much. I thought the ref was brutal though throughout for both teams.

You sure you weren't speaking to me last night Joe??? That last point is exactly what we were talking about last night. If you get a chance to see the Dublin v Monaghan game, check out Dublin doing exactly the same thing. A few weeks back they did that against Kerry and it went against them, although last night the best player they had was thon yolk Branigan. Bit of an imp.
