Brilliant win. When we win, we tend to win big. Roscommon next Saturday night should be a great atmosphere

    Final: Croke Park
So it's even more messy than it looks at first glance. One win would probably do it, but there are sequences of results that could bump us down to third.

If we beat Roscommon and lose to Clare, we finish on 9 points. But two wins for both Cavan and Laois would see them both up before us, Cavan topping the group on 10 points and Laois ahead of us on 9 on the head to head record. This sequence of results seems pretty unlikely, though.

If we lose to Roscommon and beat Clare, we also finish on 9 points. But two wins for Cavan again sees them top the group and leaves ourselves and Roscommon on 9, and Roscommon pip us on the head to head record. To add more complication in this scenario, if either Westmeath or Laois win their remaining two games, then there could be three teams on 9 points and score difference decides who finishes second - which may or may not be in our favour. This first bit of this sequence of results is a bit more likely.

All in all, we should be aiming for two wins. Anything less and we'll be on our phones checking scores elsewhere.

He was there, looked like he had his arm in a sling though
Aye seen him at the end of the game coming down from the media box at the back of the stand, although he wasn’t at the sideline for the entire game.. however super performance from the lads tonight. A lot of good pointers to take forward to next week and beyond.

1) Donaghy back at FB
2) Jamie starting and contributing well
3) completely outclassed / ‘out-muscled’ Fermanagh in the middle
4) AF being used as another attacking option and not just as a man marker
5) Defence in general was much tighter and no goals were conceded

All in all, a great night and performance. All roads to AG next Saturday where the atmosphere will be electric. Can’t wait. Ard Mhacha abú

What a roller-coaster it has been so far - expect no difference in the summer! Still very wary of Celtic Park, but, in the meantime, let's get back to the holy grail and lift some silverware!!
