A statement from the lads has just come through...

CCCCCCCC STATEMENT


“Having looked at the evidence, we, the CCCCCCC have decided that, as the original post (#572) was edited after the weekend’s matches were finished, all points won up to and including Wednesday have been lost by @stevie_06 .

Unfortunately, the CCCCCCC cannot accept the predictions in the quoted post (#586) as evidence of original predictions.

The CCCCCC wish to draw attention to the rules stated in the first post of the thread, which were:

Also, make sure any editing of predictions are done before the first match starts, otherwise you could lose points.

For example, if on a Sunday morning, you wish to change a prediction for a Sunday afternoon match, please do so in a new post, otherwise all your points from Saturday will be lost, if original post is edited.

We hope this clears up this matter”.

Well I never thought would see the day @PatMustard would succumb to bribes.

Having consulted with my lawyer, a certain Mr Bryson, I can confirm there will be no surrender and currently organising a caravan to sit outside Pats house until this travesty of a decision is overturned.

Also I demand that my £50 entry fee please be refunded to me ASAP

The abuse I get for this. Flip me, I’m beginning to wonder if this six figure salary and two months paid leave is worth it.

It is possible to appeal the decision though. Drop ten £50 notes into the letter box at the gate. Decisions usually made within 18 months.

Oh, and trim that hedge while you’re out there.

I’m thinking that by the last day, most teams have their flip flops already on, so it’ll be terrible defending all round.

Actually, to be honest, @Big Jim has been to the future and seen the results already and told me the final scores. I just hope he’s not making an arse out of me... again. Or I’ll take that flux capacitor of his, and hit him over the head with it...again.
