Proposed rule for next season
If you predict the first three fastest scorers you get ten points.
Would add a different dimension and probably hasn't happened this season

Funny you should mention that, Joe. I was thinking about proposing a few rules as well.

Firstly though, the three predictions option is really only in case of postponements. We rarely need to move to someone's second choice team (not since Covid postponements anyway), so the second and third choices aren't normally needed.

One thing I have been doing is finding out the exact times if two teams score in the same minute. It's getting more difficult to find footage for this, so I'm thinking for next season to award points to both players (eg. if Arsenal and Everton score in the first minute, then players who pick either team will score three points.).

This would also allow for more scoring, as the 2 and 1 points would still be up for grabs. So, if two more teams (say Liverpool and Newcastle) were to score in the 2nd minute, players would score 2 points for a correct prediction for either.

Anyway, I'll let everyone mull it over or suggest some of your own ideas for 2024/25 season.

Hmmmmm yeah that actually sounds good and just select one team again. If the selected team in a game by anyone gets postponed, then they get their money back (we al know that means Terry Oranges) and a free go next week!!

Plus anyone with a name ending in m gets 5 points per week for entering.

Brilliant. I'm sure I can come with other ways to beat @jpowell100 although at least he/she is not a CHEAT like some condiment people!!!

Thanks Jimmy. Maybe I got the Delorean working in the l few weeks though? My poor scores in the predictions are a red herring
