Joe id say you are in a minority here. Its been coming a while lets be honest, and whilst his jersey was being pulled a slap of the arm and he could have broke free of it after the first second or so, he should take his medicine, learn, set a better example as captain and move on
It was a red card we can cry about it until the cows come home, am not making excuses for the lad but he certainly to me anyway looks frustrated this year, and certainly does not seem to be enjoying his football, perhaps that is down to the tactics but I don't know.

I love rian but he got involved at least 3 or 4 incidents this year were he was lucky needs to catch himself on...he's a cert to pick up a yellow every game

Very strange. One captain suspended, the other playing club football.

Lads that have previously been asked not to play club must be wondering what the difference is for them. Maybe it helps to have a club man on the management team..

Can fully understand Oisin Oneill playing with Cross, that makes sense. Heard Rian was also togged out but didn’t play.

Can understand Oisin playing good to see him back but even that step from club league to knockout county champ is probley too steep this year.

As for aidan only thing i can say is that he hasnt been close to himself this year after injury. Maybe a way of trying to play him back into form but would agree what are the other players thinking. Sheridans' mc convilles, kierans that have been limited game time club game might do them no harm too

Tell me could some of the issues with RO'N be to do with the style of ball ye are playing. Last season Armagh were mostly front foot football. This season ye have been not as offensive. Is he frustrated? By the way we have our issues as well. S Walsh not playing near his standard or capability. Yes he was out in Australia after the club championship run but he is not involved in games like before. Maybe it is to do with our structure which has become more conservative and build from defence. Shane has a skillset as good as Clifford in my opinion but consistency an issue. Going back to RO'N I wonder if ye played more offensively would it matter. Maybe McGeeney is of the same view as PJ although the latter was only front foot football in his playing days. Whichever way you look at it tomorrow is 50/50 imo.

Be surprised if yous don't beat us by 4 or 5 points hopefully I'm wrong and it's alot closer

Osin O’Neill needs games so has play club football first and Nuggent isn’t in the 26 for Sunday. Seems to be because of poor enugh form, so why wouldn’t he be allowed to play for his club?
There have been numerous times where players outside the 26 were unable to play for their clubs. On a match day it seems Armagh bring 30 players to have 4 on stand by. If Nugent is within that 30 (led to believe he is) then that suggests a shift from the management in terms of allowing players to feature in club games.

By the way no issue with anyone playing for their club, something that should be welcomed. But I’m sure there are clubs around the county who would have been glad to have been afforded the same option to have their county men at different times this year.

We are tied in knots by a management that are lost at sea but we certainly have the players to beat anyone
