Interesting to see how the draw goes or has to go due to avoidance of match-ups. Bottom line, we can't get Kerry, Dublin, Derry, Tyrone or possibly Galway, essentially the top 6. It's a plum draw whatever way you look at it and the result of it will really let us know where we are right now! Pretenders or proper players?

No such thing as an easy draw for Armagh, we have struggled up to now, we are finding it very hard to put teams to sleep when we are in a winning position.
Game management, bar the Galway game is questionable.

Correct.
We avoid the big boys.
Time to stand up and be counted.
From here on in - got to prove that you can do it.
Time to shine!!

It's an all Ireland quarter final. There are no easy draws. No matter who we play we will have to be on it and will likely be an underdog. I'd even put us as an underdog against Monaghan, they stayed in Division 1 and we didn't. Whoever we play we play, but there are no favourable draws from here on.
That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking. Resisting the urge to delve too deeply into the bag of cliches it’s all on the day. We could click well and take out a big gun like Mayo or come up short against Monaghan. I’m looking forward to seeing the lads giving it a good lash

It will be interesting to see how much difference this extra weeks rest makes for all the Quarter finalists, Colm Collins said in a podcast that he couldn't pick an all ireland winner at this stage because none of the teams have been consistent enough and no one outstanding candidate but what he did say based on his own experience from managing Clare was that the four teams sitting waiting in the quarter final definitely have an advantage and that the two weeks will make a huge difference.

Its hard to know if it will have much bearing or not

Totally agree there are no easy draws but we avoid the top 6 - we'll never have a better chance in a quarter. All to play for!

It'll have a bearing I think. A lot of football has been played, especially by us being in the preliminary round in Ulster. A week with no game will hopefully stand to us.

It all depends who you get, Cork will be coming off two back to back wins where they went all out, but they’ll have high momentum. Tyrone will be better off for playing Donegal and won’t have expended too much energy. You’d expect Galway Mayo to be intense and the winners to be “leggy” coming into the next week.
