Kevin McStay,Tomas O'Se,Paul Whelan, Oisin McConville,Dessie Dolan,Colm O'Rourke are the best pundits for me
Oisin is the best pundit RTE have. Tomas O’Se was good too, but didn’t know he left RTE.

‘Paul’ Whelan can have his moments too but not when not talking about Dublin. Cavanagh tends to get a bit hysterical when Tyrone is involved, but he’s not too bad.

My team for sunday , If Oisin O Neill fit he needs to start , Turbitt deserves a start as well . I know Hall has got a bit of grief here last week but I would start him in the first half for his work rate and intensity and bring soupy in early second half . The back line has performed well and I would not be tinkering with it , I know people are not confident with Paddy Burns on the ball but he’s probably one of our natural defenders and less foul prone than Morgan .

Other than the two highlighted I would agree. I don't mind listening to Sean Cavanagh once and a while.
Don't like McStay at all. He has become slightly better over recent years but I still can't stand his much auld parish priest persona. Giving out from the pulpit 'Down with this sort of thing'.
For some mad reason, a while back I re watched the Armagh Fermanagh 2004 game (I know, why?).
McStay was co commentator and peed himself with glee at the number soft frees going against Armagh. He basically kept making the same point, can't remember the exact words but basically could be translated as 'at last we have a referee who is taking a stand against these dirty Armagh heathens. They're not getting away with their nordie nonsense now!!! Bravo for John Bannon-a place in heaven guaranteed for that man and his whistle'

Have you died and are in purgatory @pablo ? Or are you a member of Opus Dei and like to flog yourself once on a while

I lost confidence in McStay after the ‘Mallon brothers ‘ comment and John Bannon gave us a few calls in the 2002 final so I wouldn’t be too hard on him .

I know. Was a while back. I put it down to cabin fever or isolation brain fog at the time. Whatever, it was an unwise move and not recommended

Anything Sunday is great but Kildare is the big game. We need a win to be safe and that's priority 1 in the league. Kerry and Donegal could beat us and then you're looking at relegation. Get points on the board as soon as you can and then think about the championship!

We got a few knocks the weekend and McCabe I expect to return anyway. Mayo are free scoring also so looking forward to my drive to Roscommon.

One of Duffy or Campbell for Hall and this will be close enough to what is named. Possibly also Mc Cabe for Paddy Burns. People saying hall is in for his work rate. Work rate is the minimum that is expected from any player and all our players have been putting shifts in. Campbell works his socks off as well and his direct running will trouble Mayo more on Sunday.

Firstly I think we need to address the issues we're having in terms of teams pressing our kickouts.
Against Tyrone, we were found out in the second half when they pushed up and similarly again against Monaghan. Blaine has some fantastic qualities as a Goalkeeper but doesn't have a cannon in him. If the rumors are to be believed, Ethan Rafferty could be the solution.

Don't understand the criticism of Paddy Burns. With the exception of one poor mistake on Saturday he's been very strong for us this year in both games he's played. Seen it mentioned he was prone to mistakes. Have yet to see that myself.

If Ciaran Mackin can keep going the way he's going we're after unearthing a trojan of a player. Pure work horse.

Jarly Og moving well at wing back. Nugent and Grugan hitting hard and getting turnovers and now pace and flair with Turbitt up front.

We need pace and mobility against Mayo and I think we have it in this team. Not to mention a seriously strong bench!

Eternally hopeful of another two points!

I would be inclined to keep Blaine Hughes. He has not let in any goals despite the pressure he has been under and he cannot be blamed entirely on what is happening. Outfield players need to make themselves available, multiple plans need to be implemented for goal kicks. It is all too easy to blame Hughes for all of these issues and with all due respect to Rafferty, he is an unknown quantity in goal. Down is hardly the barometer to test our players against.

Hall should have been taken off earlier last week - probably shouldn't have even started considering the conditions. No point in having speed when you can't get a footing in wet conditions. However, Hall should start against Mayo. The more diversity in our attack the better and the forward line seems to be settling in nicely. That being said, we have a lot of forwards and they need time to gel with each other.

Looking forward to Saturday, we shouldn't fear Mayo but definitely respect them.

You do know we're playing on Sunday ;):) Don't want you missing out by being a day early.
