Meanwhile Eamonn Magee slates us on national media highlighting Armagh and naming A Forker for previous. I can't (but I can) believe we fell into this trap!! Hopefully suspensions are even and this brings the lads closer together - us against the world has served us well in the past. We need to keep our discipline now though, our card is well and truly marked.
And he was such a quiet player. Never in trouble.

He named Forker for something that happened 8 years ago ! And gave off about Armagh players putting fellas in headlock. Very unbiased piece.

We were always going to be blamed for this after what happened with Tyrone. Armagh are public enemy #1 and we will be getting it from all angles - BBC will jump on it, RTE will portray the big bullies from the north, sure even our lovely neighbours are trying to lay the boot in. We played our part in it and as fans we are not shying away from it. As said before, there is another crack at them in a few weeks so heads down and focus - hurt them by knocking them out of Ulster.

They are going to target players again next time - laugh it off and carry on with playing football.

This is either tue or a lie. Let’s face it isn’t true is it?

I checked the rte website. No mention of the issue since the match report. Likewise BBC. Ok there is a bit on the sports news but shock horror, incident from match on Sunday makes the sports news on Monday.

Quit the siege mentality bullshit.

The ref report will come through and any disciplinary actions will flow from that. Sensible heads can hang on that long before getting their undergarments needlessly moist?

There’s not another county that’s been involved in more mass brawls than us over the last 8 years, time we stopped playing the victim card and realise we’re the problem.

Melee's have happened in two of our 8 league games and we have a history of it happening whether it is our fault or not you need to take your head out of the sand and realise we are being blamed for this rightly or wrongly. The CCC will look at it and hand out suspensions to both teams but a lot of people have made their minds up.

If we are guilty and there is proof of guilt then we will get punished. That seems fair.

This talk of public enemy No1 and getting the blame is needless.

There is no logical reason to believe we will be punished for anything other that of which we are guilty. If we are in fact guilty of anything.

Nothing wrong with that. Won that shower in Tyrone plenty!

Not much talk of the actual game .
Thought Ethan’s kick outs were pretty good
Nugent is a good score getter . Struggled with some decision making re playing the ball on but he’s a marksman.
We love running a ball into the corner
Murnin looked fitter than Kerry game and did good work .
Donegal had free run of the stand side in first half
James Morgan felt the hard side of Murphy’s hip to the head . Definitely looked groggy after .
Good to see subs getting a run out . Justy Kierans just missed out on being the hero.

Can we all agree that Tyrone started the melee and that Donegal started things yesterday.

Very obvious that certain Armagh players were targeted by Donegal during the game and in the scuffle after there was a lot of markers put down.

I don't think we can expect players to stand back but it's something that needs stamped out.
We play a very physical contact sport which can lead to altercations from time to time.

Maybe they need to look at rugby and Aussie rules as two other sports where the physical aspect is integral to their game. What do they do when such incidents take place and what are the repercussions.
I certainly don't want any Armagh player taking a backward step when putting up with the rubbish Donegal were at but there has to be a deterrent to a lot of players getting stuck in.

Fair dues to the letterkenny PA person who was telling everyone to stay off the pitch.
Can you imagine the scenes if young kids had been on the pitch looking for gloves and that was happening.

All right for everyone to sit here and say we should walk away and not lose our heads.. while losing are heads and arguing with each other about well losing our heads
. In heat of moment not a lot makes sense.. as you see in game up and down the country. Donegal had one attention evident from Neil Mcgee cameo..
Would agree championship draws to early.
Soup great impact sub.
Anyway on to championship...

Yeah, October/November... 6 month’s before. Why?

Let’s say, us and Cavan win our QF, the semi in Clones/Enniskillen etc, is arranged at a couple weeks notice. So it’s very doable. Wait until the league is over, then do the championship draws.
