Nugent was set up. The row started when Nugent was coming off towards theStand side and McFadden Ferry ran over to confront him, shouting in his face and trying to provoke him. Nugent had given him a bit of a runaround throughout the match. Aidan Forker came over to try to separate them and there was a bit of pushing and shoving and wrestling going on. I didn’t see Nugent do anything after that but of course the referee picked out the first two players involved without identifying the instigator. Everyone beside me were clear that Donegal’s no 4 started the whole row. It looked to be premeditated. Nugent will be the biggest loss of the lot.

It certainly applies to the Mackin suspension. He got involved. He shouldn’t have. He got caught and there is a recording of his guilt. Please don’t appeal this one. Any appeal would require our self respect to be left at the door. Don’t do that to ourselves or the game.

No idea what the other 2 did but we shouldn’t be just appealing for appealing’s sake. By all means appeal if genuinely wronged

I am not sure when he injured his hand to be honest but he has been out for a while so would expect him to be back.

It's been a few weeks and at the time it was said he would be out for 6 weeks!

Good to hear on all 3 Huggy. Cian will get there - a carven copy of Jim as a player.

Turbo and Ross will both be pushing for a starting place. Serious competition regardless of any suspensions being overturned or not.
