Calm down.
A poster asked for clarification about the story with Ross is. In this same post he questioned Ross's commitment. The fact that Ross is not playing for Armagh is not down to a lack of commitment on his behalf. End of. If it's not down to his lack of commitment you do the maths. Protecting the player? Give me a break.
Clearly indicate where i exactly questioned Ross' commitment? I don't know the lad.

Did he trial for Aussie Rules? If he did, then he made himself unavailable for his county during that time and that was his priority. So, i take it he either didn't make it or decided against it?? So, if that is true, he needs to knuckle down and get himself in the squad. Should the manager roll out the red carpet for someone that wasn't in his thoughts as he'd committed elsewhere?

Prove to the manager now that he is committed to the county and if he's good enough and shows well in training he will get selected (is he actually training with the county). This is not his club where he could literally sit at home, not train and rock up and get game time. This is county. You're all-in or you're not. I've heard so much about this lad but no-one is able to say what his priority is.

The bits in bold speak for themselves. I'd imagine most posters would see this as you questioning Ross's commitment. A lot of what is in bold is untrue. He didn't choose to go to Aussie Rules trials instead of going to county training. He did both. He's not rocking up to the Athletic Grounds/ Pairc Esler or anywhere else without training.

Hopefully that's a clear indication of where you questioned his commitment.

Absolutely scandalous prices. Did ulster gaa learn nothing from the McKenna cup final? Was it £9 in and the place was full, great atmosphere. Lucky to be half full at those prices - how does that benefit the organisation? You would get tickets to some premier league games for cheaper.
hold on a second. it was £20/£15 for the Down match pre purchase and £25/18 on the day (for stand/terrace). I was expecting £30 this time around. The prices have came down the last number of years after they skyrocketed.

Was going to say something similar - those look the same prices for the Down game!

As for McGeeney....Yes he was a key player in 2002 but to be honest I would have Marsden, McGrane and Oisin on a higher level of importance and we definitely wouldn't have won Sam without them...

All about opinions BC. I think you're right that the players you've listed were essential to winning Sam and you could include others like Stevie and Ronan Clarke, but in my opinion Geezer was head, shoulders and torso above any single player when it comes to level of importance in the 2002 triumph, not just for his football but for his leadership qualities both on and off the pitch, which were central to the unprecedented levels of commitment required and given by the collective.

£24 for a seat. £28 if you turn up on the day. The expectation of it being £30 is a sad indictment of where we are as an organisation.
£11 in to an irish league soccer game - who pay players. We charge double and don't pay players.

I'll still be there with the orange cap on. They'll probably blame Brexit!

I'm reliably informed that Grimley has started contact last week and should be ready for the semi-final. For me, him and Burns would make a serious midfield partnership with the likes of Crealey and Sheriden (if fit) to come in when the bag's busted. Grimley also is a good 80% man from free kicks (although, I would like to see O'Neill take that responsibility). Maybe Grimley won't start, but he will be a great addition to being brought in at some point.

I'd love to see Oisin O'Neill get fit and start (or introduced). I know the Cross men don't like McGeeney but i have heard from lads close to Geezer that he loves those two lads and was raving about them long before they became the correct age.

I don't see anyone now complaining about Ross not on the panel when obviously he is playing for the U20s and can't play for both. Sometimes a bit of context is all that is needed, eh. So, the lads that seem to know this fella real well (or so they say) - just ask him - was this the reality of the situation? Let him finish out with the U20s before he joins up with the senior panel?

I did not - i said "IF". Everything I wrote had the prefix of "IF". I have literally no idea about him - hence, the IF. So, wind your neck in.

Now answer the U20 post! I'll be waiting i assume..........................................
