see what I done thereI hear Wolfe tones had 17 men behind the wire on Friday night
Aye your man had some game for the Grange that day. He was running about with a whistle for some reason but he was Granges best playerThey haven't recovered from the 2019 final defeat
Blaine Hughes kicking bailed cruppin out . Be interesting next round against a tones team who don’t seem to play with any forwardsHaving watched the Cruppen And Collegeland match as a neutral (although my name suggests otherwise) I have to say all this talk about Cruppen is baffling me. Can count themselves very lucky to overcome a stubborn Collegeland team and the referee had a major part to play in that victory for them. Little is said about Collegeland and in a few years time it’s a team I see competing for a championship, Cruppen on the other hand don’t like a physical battle and if they don’t harden up they’ll be known as a good footballing team but not a winning team.
Yep have to agree there Blaine and the referee where strong contenders for man of the match, although twice lost the ball and the ref was there to clean up the sloppy ball. Tones be hoping to score a goal from a corner I reckon hold out for a 1-0 win suit them well.Blaine Hughes kicking bailed cruppin out . Agree with all them calls except the Cruppen one, think Tones will come away with a low scoring 5-4ish something criminal I’d say, Tones be hard hitting and Cruppen too many young lads afraid to get stuck in. Although if that McKinistry fella who was playing on Sunday is available I’d tip my hat to Cruppen, low scoring Tones win for me. Should be intriguing anyway.Cruppen vs Tones
Can’t really call this one - expect a low-scoring dogged affair. Cruppen just because they’ve been more consistent.
Tullysaran vs Forkhill
Going with Tullysaran, another hard one to call but they have played at higher level which I think will give them a slight advantage
Whitecross vs Sarsfields
No brainer, Sarsfields are hot favourites for league/championship double.
St Pauls vs Culloville
If Murnin is fit and firing on all cylinders I fancy St Paul’s.
Cross II vs Eire Og
Cross II to edge it. Ogs have regressed quite a bit the last couple of years, Cross have plenty of experience to call upon.
P’pass vs Dorsey guessing here but think Dorsey the more rounded outfit
Derrynoose vs Killeavy Derrynoose to win easy
Belleek vs lissummon Belleek are a team that really need to push on, I don’t think this will be their year but I do think they’ll get another day out…
Both tough calls, just think Mullaghbawn have enough about them to shut down Cullyhanna who probably dont have a whole lot outside the county men. Silverbridge and Dromintee normally two good league teams that never get going in the championship, both good sides and again could go either way.Interesting to see two neutrals tipping Mullaghbawn to beat Cullyhanna. Pats always have a kick in them come championship, I'll be surprised if they dont come through this, unless Duffy/Nugent aren't playing.
Silverbridge will give Dromintee plenty of it too. Harder one to call than the odds suggest.
