That lasted well
Definitely didn’t see belleek win coming but well done to them, deserved the win. Two McParlands where brilliant along with Sean McCreesh.

Intermediate was a good hard hitting contest and well done to Carrickcruppen, won it on the line. Had the match ups perfect.

Cruppen were the much better team and could have won by more - they played all the good football. Also, although mostly young and lighter than the Culloville players they were not going to be bullied in any way.
An entertaining match - and a word too for the ref who I thought was very good.

Heard a few people comment on poor quality in games this year in championship - is this a result of an inflated inter county panel who are away from clubs most of the years weather they play or not
I’ve thought the quality was good from what I’ve seen. And all county players are with their clubs for the championship. Seems like something else to beat McGeeney with of you ask me.

Cruppen did their homework and thoroughly deserved to win, special mention for young OHare who did a great job on Rowland.
Culloville had their chances and Will rue the mistake for Cruppen’s goal And their own second half miss in front of goal as well as the failure to start Colm Watters( who was excellent when he entered the fray) but overall a good game with the better team winning.
Great season for Cruppen.
Ref did well also.

2 great games for a neutral! Delighted to see Belleek win and pipe down the galacticos from Cross.

Thought Cruppen got their match-ups spot on yday. Rowland will still be looking over his shoulder to see where #7 is. Strange call not to start Watters, when he clearly looked fit.

Cruppen looked the fitter team too. Runners from deep from the first minute, and super on the break. Having our county goalie Hughes as a roving keeper/fb/sweeper is a serious asset to any team.

Now need CE to win next week to make it 3/3 for the underdogs!!

Big chance this year for CE to push on in Ulster. No matter who wins Antrim they’ll drink the heads of themselves for a month as it’s either gonna be a first ever win or a first win in donkeys years. CE could use this to their advantage and make at least an Ulster semi.
The winners of that play the winners of Tyrone or Fermanagh and neither of those counties are great from what I’ve seen. CE could be very easily staying off the drink over Christmas prepping for an Ulster final!

Anyone know what the story is for tickets for the Co. Final on Sunday? Nothing on the MyTicket App yet.

Yes, I forgot. Why not wait until Christmas morning to play it. Ridiculous that it is so late given we went out of the Championship on July 18th!
Plenty of reasons- league games had to be played before the championship, draws had to be made and fixtures set, also to give the winners the best chance at a rattle in Ulster they don’t want to be sitting on their hands for a month after winning the county before their Ulster match.

Would be some craic right enough if Clann Éireann and Aghagallon both won. Whole of Lurgan would be at it

Rivers of bucky will flow.
Good to see St Marys doing well. Hard working club at underage level. I really hope they win and forge their identity in the eyes of some folk in Antrim who still regard them as 'blow ins'.
Nostalgic for that part of the world. Awkward Saturday nights as a teenager out courting at The Igo Inn.

CE will be in the same boat, they would also fall under the catagory of a first win in donkeys years.
