With the greatest respect he shouldn’t be doing senior games, junior ref at best. Hopefully we don’t even notice the ref and it doesn’t affect the game in any way. Best ref I have seen in Armagh is Kevin Faloon, lets the game run and takes no shit. Paudie Hughes is also quite good, doesn’t miss much and knows the rules to a tee however is very fussy at times.

Dromore in their first final in almost ten years v Coalisland who by all accounts have flattered to deceive in even getting this far… I’d say Cross/CE could take either, that’s if they even beat the Fermanagh champions.

Couldn’t agree more, let’s just hope he doesn’t try and steal the show

Haven't seen Fallon much, but have seen Paudie ref all levels, senior to youths, and to my mind he is the best in the county. Fair, knowledgeable, consistent both within games and over the course of many games, stays up with the play and also takes no..er..stuff. Far better than many of the well known 'national' referees in vogue these days. Yes, has made the odd mistake, like all of us, but an honest, thoughtful and effective arbiter of our games.

Best ref for the job, paudie has retired I believe!! Maybe u should take the referring up see hows you get on. Alot of people have alot to say about refs but if were asked to ref a game they wouldnt but would be the first to talk about one how bad they were, never a good thing to say, despite the lack of refs

Hearty refereed the first Cross v Ballymacnab final and did a fine job I thought. Let the game flow, and it was an excellent game.

It will be interesting to see if Cross can stop the CE forwards, and vice versa of course. A goalfest would be nice to see.

And so with all the griping done, Armagh tv still hold our county heads high by winning another award from Croke Park.

Congratulations to each of them. In my opinion very worthy winners indeed. I'll be in Armagh on Sunday so won't see what they're doing until later maybe, but I'm sure our family and friends overseas will enjoy again what they bring to the screens.
