Clann eireann put the motion in as far as I am aware. Sarsfields also put a recommendation in for league games on a Saturday night to be trialled for next season.

I wouldnt know! Not from there!! But no we never seemed to have a problem with either! Did they not trail Saturday night games in down last year??

Think that's the actual armagh gaa All-Star awards your talking about and not the irish news version.

Worth a thread of its own to discuss who should make it.

I think Oisin should have been on this team as well as Rian.

Rian was outstanding against Maghery. Only 19 years of age. The biggest talent in the county and arguably the best club footballer in the county already. Inter county is for another thread but what an addition both O'Neills would/will be.

stefan forker should have been on that team too, the Corrinshego player shouldn't been in the team, the only reason he was in the team was to have a player from each championship finalists in the team of the year

Have you ever seen the lad play before you say he shouldn't be on team.

What does everyone think of this new champions league-ish style format for championship? Personally I think it's even more overkill than than the back door system we've recently been using and completely excessive and can only assume it was ratified based on the potential for extra revenue it may bring in and the possibly to combat lack of games in the league. Personally I would be in favour of reverting back to straight ko.

Still no wind of fixtures?? Bit of a joke from a players point of view, not knowing a definite league start date, planning holidays such as Easter, or even a weekend away. There is no reason in the world why they cant be finalised once the championship format was decided upon in December. A bit more consideration for its playing members would be appreciated by all. And still some clubs will end up squeezing the last 4 games into a 10 day period. Can only hope there is plenty of Saturday night rounds like other counties successfully do.
