Coronavirus and the GAA

This horseshit from Tyrone about thinking next week they'll make a decision on whether to play or not
Smokescreens - either pull now or play the game.
Absolutely no sympathy for them at all
To have so many positives - 26 in total - has to mean they played Monaghan with loads of them infected.
You reap what you sow.

Much and all as we all “dislike” Tyrone, I’d still rather see them at full strength and give us a decent semi final. (aka I’d rather Kerry humiliate them again with their full team rather than a pile of boys missing)

If the reports are true and the whole team is/was riddled with covid, they’ve done the right thing for their players and also the Kerry players sake. The last thing Kerry would want is a breakout in their camp also going into a final.

There is no way Tyrone followed any covid regulations
It's very clear they were riddled when they were playing Monaghan and then another 20 people became positive
From reports that's 31 people
It's clear they gambled on the ulster final and its backed fired spectacularly

How do we know they were riddled? Sure 5 tested positive and pulled out of squad. I’d say they’re happy enough with their Ulster title so definitely don’t think it has backfired. They’ve a lot of developing to do to get near Kerry anyway

If the Tyrone County Board are seriously concerned with the health of their players then they did the right thing in pulling out of match. The difficulty is that if they seek and get a postponement how many club teams will use the same excuse if they have a key player injured. On the other hand if a postponement isn't granted would teams be inclined to ignore Covid cases in their team...I would hope and expect not.

The problem is in 5 years time if a team suffers a flu outbreak in their squad will they get a postponement? This is a big problem for head quarters to sort and one that will annoy many.

@ragingbull that's one I'd remove if I were you. It's definitely not funny and most definitely not appropriate for this forum - or any other in my opinion, but that is just an opinion.

How did the Tyrone team travel to and from the Ulster Final, was it separately on on a bus together? Did they have a function that night? There are a lot of rumours flying around that they were very negligent with the rules and procedures so questions deserve to be asked and answers should be forthcoming. I say this as someone isolating with Covid at the moment.

I think the Health service should find out exactly what Tyrone done and implement it as standard practice because from what I seen last Saturday covids been nowhere near that Tyrone camp.

Who knows. We’ll likely never know. But it’s not as if Kerry were told the day before, “right, put them surfboards away. You’re playing Tyrone tomorrow”. Both teams had the same preparation time. Kerry more even.

Maybe Tyrone were careless. Maybe they pulled a fly one. Who knows. All that matters is that Mayo beat them in the final.

have you registered for the £100 voucher?
NO!! It's a scam by the government to track down illegal...........I mean hidden treasure fuel depots. They know giving it to the peasants means they'll buy "cheapo" fuel and lead them right to it. It also has a tracking device fitted to it so when you're aff having your affair they will know and be able to tell your partner and you'll lose custody of the dog!!

Right that’s it, I’m not applying for it now. Not that I’m having an affair or anything, but it’s the principle of the fing, innit.
