Thanks for the reality check CEMan, what on earth was I thinking being so excited, I feel so much better now that I am grounded.
You could say that for any game in fact - people do - "you are only as good as your last game".
We are coming from a low point and trying to build. At this stage I will take any positives there are and enjoy them. I am fully aware though that some folk are happier when things are going badly as it gives them something to moan about.
Personally I think winning the McKenna cup would be a excellent achievement and while it doesn't mean we will win the All Ireland, it's progress.

Now c'mon ta F**K!!!!!! --- ahem, sorry.

Ok Geezer ;)

:D:D:D Might be best not to get too close, I tend to get a tad excited. Big Sam McClatchey gave me a dirty look one day in Drogheda because I was getting a bit agitated.

You are obviously 1 of the "lucky" few who hasn't been within earshot of me at a match ;):)

Brilliant news. Joe McQuillan is the ref. He [just about] hates them more than he hates us. Well OK actually St. Michael hates him too, but at least Geezer loves him!

Any team news, despite having a wine in the sun I'm raging I'm missing this game
Yes.

St. Michael has said he can't play properly without his schoolkids to boss around so we are the big threat with our cynical play and rule breaking team that are developing into a serious Division 3 team. Jeez St. Michael, give us a break!!! We know you're gonna hammer us. Just get on with it and sure we'll see you later in the summer in a meaningful game. It'll be nice having you in the stand watching us as we progress and your lads...........sorry, kids, are sunning themselves and cutting the garden with nothing else to do! (I did that in honour of @Diarmi )

St. Mickey bigging us up on BBC Newsline with a grin on his face. In the words of Mr Kevin Keegan ".......I will love it if we beat them. Love it"

C'MON ARMAGH

Anyone watching that shite on Tg4. Any games we've played this year have been entertaining, that is just pathetic. Very poor quality.

Hate to go against the grain but that doesn’t look much like the Tyrone starting 15. I reckon only 6 of that line up started against either the Dubs or Monaghan in Croke Park last summer.

I’m surprised Harte has stuck with these guys given that they struggled to win last week against division 4 opposition. Bringing in Morgan and McNamee will definitely strengthen them up at the back but I’d be disappointed if we aren’t capable of beating this 15.

I know you Maghery men keep a close eye on Tyrone but I would reckon their 6 forwards would have played a good bit for Tyrone over the last few years. Morgan McNamee McCann and McCrory in defence get a fair bit of game time too. McClure got a number of sub appearances last year too. Cassidy has frequently made the match day squads over the last while. Grugan should have been in panel the last few years. I understand also the players like Rory Brennan and Mattie and Richie Donnelly are named on a strong bench. I feel it is the strongest team Tyrone have named in McKenna Cup. Seeing they have been so far ahead of Armagh in the last few years they should be expected to win fairly comfortably. Hopefully that is not the case.
