Great to be giving Tyrone a match again! Could have won that game - penalty was bizarre! Surely he wasn't going for a point?? Ref was very poor (as expected from Joe) but our tackling is as bad as I've ever seen. Right from the off with Mackin's yellow after 3 mins. We really need to work on this.
I know some of our tackling wasn't great, but Tyrone bought a lot of handy frees, aided by Mr Joe.
The young lads are game as f**k though.

Dished out handy yellows to an orange shirt but little to a white shirt. Hard to like those Tyrone hoers I have to say. Makes me fecking sick to the pit of my stomach.

When you concentrate on the bad you will only ever see the bad. Some of tackling tonight was bad. Some was good. Some tackling we were penalised for was good also and should never have been frees

Lots of positives tonight yes but I'm entitled to my opinion that our tackling was very poor in general. It is an area to work on. There are always areas to improve and I'm not afraid to say what they are.

No doubt we have good tough young lads in there which is great to see! Just need to control their aggression but that will come. A Forker really solved this part of his game and is a much better player now! We missed him him tonight - hopefully injury not too bad!

Taking Jamie off was a very strange decision. He was causing them serious trouble. Looks like young O’Neill just won’t be taken off. He was average enough tonight despite his massive reputation. But I think he should have made way for a sub not Jamie. For the life of me I don’t understand why we didn’t give the penalty to our soccer star Soupy.

Reading about the match on a post on FB, someone has posted that Jamie was taken off as an injury concern. I'm not sure if this is true but would certainly make more sense regarding his substitution, we will need him fighting fit for the league.

Didn’t look injured to me. Ran off.
