Decent enough game tonight, Tullysaran off to a flyer, St Paul's slowly got to grips with them and began to close down their danger men. Tullysaran were weak in the middle and conceded a lot of possession from kickouts. St Paul's exploited the space on the wings well and took some nice scores at crucial times. Tullysaran rallied late on and may have had a penalty for a lift off the ground in injury time but it was vague enough. They also hit the crossbar, the ball coming off a St Paul's player (who knew nothing about it) Minor skirmish occurred after a late tackle on a St Paul's player. A few handbags were exchanged and the ref felt it necessary to award two reds. Tullysaran no 12 definetly threw two punches. St Paul's lad was hard done by imo. I would say that one will be reversed. Good battling performance by St Paul's and just about deserved it. Few of the younger lads stood up when needed. Murnin clearly injured as he could hardly win. Can the blues make it an all Lurgan final tomorrow evening??
What date is set for the intermediate final lads? Asking for a friend
