Some harsh words about Jamie Clarke on the Mayo GAA Blog

"Jamie Clarke is for sure a sublime talent, but only when he feels like it. He did little or nothing of note in those matches against Down and Cavan and, on those showings, was the laziest looking inter-county footballer I've ever seen. That said, he has talent and if he can be arsed to turn it on will need watching."

Contender for biggest load of BS I’ve seen this year, Jamie has shown unreal work rate on every match this year, constantly working in attack and defence. Looking forward to him showing his quality tomorrow to silence these doubters

Good. Hope Geezer puts that on the changing room wall.

Maurice Fitzgerald looked like a lazy arsed hoor on the pitch, but, man could he play!

They comments on their summary of Armagh football on recent years have thrown out a lot of positive comments about our supporters though.

Far be it from me to defend the Mayo Gaa blog, but their is countless positive comments about Jamie Clarke all week. One posters opinion doesn’t represent the vast majority of Mayo supporters, who I can assure you are scared shitless that Clarke and O’Neill could run riot on our fb line. This biggest compliment that could be paid to Jamie, is Lee Keegan picking him up from the start, which I feel will happen.

This is my last post before the game, as Im heading for a blast a pints, but safe traveling to all ye bucks coming down, hope ye enjoy the game and atmosphere, and I can assure ye, ye’ll be welcomed in MacHale park and the pubs later on . May the best team win.

I think tonight could be the perfect stepping stone. This is a serious serious challenge. Live on Sky, big stadium, playing a top team.

Safe journey to all. I really believe that we can win today. Hence my bet on Armagh HT/FT at 6/1.

These lads owe us nothing. The work rate on all 4 days thus far has been sensational. This is a team who largely played the McKenna cup and league campaigns. I worried during the McKenna cup that we would burn out come championship.

How wrong I was. This group of players are a credit to our county. Honest hard working lads totally committed to the cause and not one of them can be questioned.

The day has arrived for our wee county to get a big win. Best wishes to all. Come on Armagh!
