Thinking ahead to Tuesday how hard will we go does everyone think? It's hard to play Sat & Tue so reckon we could see a real mixed team

Folks, ladies, gents, boys, girls, whatever. Settle it's so unlike you lot to get het up like this when we've had a good couple of days. It's usually the members that save their posts until the senior lads get beat that start the nonsense. Jeez you guys usually entertain and are good craic defending each other. I guess it's got a bit like family here. I know my brother is a bollox, but don't let anyone else say that.

It's great that we get four games (glasses still haven' been put in retirement yet) to get the cobwebs blown away before facing Dublin in Croker. Let's just enjoy this start. It's been a while. I can't comment on any of the play as I seen nothing sadly, but really do trust you all to be honest about how we are doing - and I'm usually the bollox messing around like a 10 year old, high on Coca Cola and fizz bombs pretending to be an aeroplane taking off from a short runway. It's crap having sold the DeLorean!.

Taking the average of what I'm reading, I'm positive about it. Win or lose doesn't matter at this stage and I'm not sure that Monaghan having a bit longer will benefit them. They're still an ageing team with an established if backward looking manager. They don't have the same incentive to win like last year's game. I think we could (should) show them why we're better than them and nothing beats a bit of momentum

Interesting game yesterday. As expected Tyrone put up a better fight than they did against Cavan but Armagh mostly had control of game. Always good to get a win over Tyrone. The main plus seems to be the increasing competition in the squad. Would expect a good few changes for Tuesday. Maybe those who have played both games will get a bit if a rest.

So much faffing around with GAA Beo, terrible experience. Anyway, purchased the game for £5, might not be live but can see how they are playing.

Jason Duffy was impressive for the 18 minutes he was on.

Defence fault for goal, shouldn't have allowed that big of a gap for a player to go through especially with numbers behind the ball.

I don't like the mark, Tyrone must have had 4 points off us for that just for catching the dam ball.

Rian O'Neill up and down the pitch the amount of energy that lad has to use! I want to say unecessarily but hey we have to do it.

We play so many unnecessarily ugly passes and cough up possession too much. It's not the time of year either it is all year. We never played with any intensity in the game and still got the win. Tyrone has pretty much showed all of the division one teams how to beat us - run at us.

Around the 58th minute Tyrone pushed up on us as we worked the ball from the back. Think it was Burns that put Magill in a spot of bother resulting in a free for Tyrone - Magill shouldn't have been allowed to have been put under pressure considering his experience.

I thought the goalie had a great game.. His kickouts were exceptional and yes there was one or two wobbles but which player on the field didn't make any mistakes.
The game v Monaghan one goal was a bad kickout. The rest were the result of about 10 players not doing their job.
Agreed he did make a mistake against Monaghan for at least one of the goals but was mostly solid as far as I remember.

Oisin was with the college and assume Murnin was a late withdrawal Saturday. Duffy was brilliant until went off so hope nothing major.

Have been saying it for years. Armagh defensively are weak down the spine of the defence. Only have to look at Monaghan last year. Wasn’t at the game or haven’t seen it, but until we fix this, it’s going to be tough going toe to toe with teams who notoriously play a running game.

Is Oisin O neil def with one of the colleges teams.? he won a sigerson back in 2017, thought he would be out of the college scene now

Sorry but where exactly am I writing him off?!?!! I haven't abused the lad & in fact I am one of those who stuck up for him after the Monaghan game, although you obviously weren't aware he played that day  He made a mistake today that I've seen other keepers make, I just hope he doesn't do it again.
I wasn’t referring to you re writing off the young goalkeeper . It was Muckser I was addressing.

As per Executive guidance, one method of Covid compliance should be shown should outdoor event attendances exceed 4000 spectators from Monday 13th December 2021, on entry. Please be aware all patrons may need to show one of the following should this occur:

  • DOUBLE VACCINATION (ID Required)
  • A NEGATIVE LATERAL FLOW TEST (Within 48 hours of the event)
  • A POSITIVE PCR TEST IN PREVIOUS 30-180 DAYS
  • U-18’s will not need to provide this proof.

*******************************************

Here, is this for real now?

And how do they know if matches will exceed 4000 fans?

Can someone clarify the situation?

I think the way it works is that as you can only buy your ticket online the anticipated number of attendees can be guessed.

So if only 500 tickets sold by today then the chances of 4000 by tomorrow evening is slim.

If 2000 sold by today then chances of 4000 by tomorrow are greater.

It looks like it can be a mare for organisers to anticipate how many persons will turn up when you can buy a ticket right up until throw in.
Given it's a Tuesday night, a school night, and the chances of rain there may be a max of 3000 there tomorrow night .

Only way for certain to know is to limit the number of tickets that could be sold but highly unlikely.
