Started well but have faded - we seem to lack a few of the basic skills - wayward fist passing and short kick passing and our shooting is poor. The old chestnut of poor tackling also evident - we were lucky not to have 2 black cards against us.
Derry much sharper skills wise.
Super save from our keeper following a bad kick out which has kept us alive. A goal will be massive.

He is. And there’s another brother, a year or 2 older. Aaron would have at least 2 years at this level, he is only 16
What a come back!! Derry had that game won at double scores with 20 mins to go but fair play to our team and management for dragging themselves back into it. Both teams gave up possession v cheaply towards the end but it was fitting that our no.5 scored the winner (O'Neill I think?) he missed a couple of scores but covered every blade of grass in fairness to him!
Aaron couldn't get going at all but there were glimpses of what's to come in the future. Was taken off early in the 2nd half.

Fair play that is some result against the AI Champions. I wonder had Derry many playing from that team?

Didn’t see it. He’s a real talent and will make it. Like I said he is 2 years left after this year at minor so that brings into perspective

Saw him playing in under 15 championship last year. You could tell in one half he was a prospect.

I see we now play Donegal then Tyrone in the final
I would be very surprised if the team progresses any further as the standard seemed very poor tonight from both teams and I'd say that Derry would feel they left it behind them. Neither team had a marquee forward either which most would have.
That said, you just don't know at this level and positivity is key moving forward.
