There is some amount of tripe being thrown around the place here. Absolute nonsense.

Rian has a quad injury. Expected to miss around 6 weeks or so. Most certainly didn't storm off after the Galway game. Met some fans after the game and that's fact.

As was said earlier, that's the case with McConville. Plenty of people basing their opinion on lads they think should be starting based on what they see in club championship games. Unless you're in and around training and see what's going on then maybe hold your fire a bit.

When Jarly Óg was interviewed after the Donegal game he commented on how the lads would do absolutely anything for McGeeney. He spoke about how inspirational he was and how they'd go through a brick wall for him. The buy in is very much there. But it suits people to sling mud at the line and say X, Y and Z should be starting based off nothing other than opinion.

In terms of injuries, Morgan is a small bit off. Oisin will do well to get any football as he recovers. Paddy Burns will be out for a while yet . McKay should be back for Sunday I believe after a mild concussion last week.

Maybe a bit of positivity from fans would go some way towards helping the team rather than spreading rumours of discontent and souring the attitudes towards the squad and management a few days before a huge game and just a few weeks before the Ulster campaign starts. The negativity doesn't be long seeping in to the crowd at the matches and players respond to the crowd more than you'd think.

Is there a minimum amount of time a player should be out for after a concussion? Mild or not? If he has had any type of concussion I dont believe he should play this weekend.

Could be wrong but i think it is 7 days. I think Connaire Mackin had one last year in one of the games

I'm unsure about this as to whether it is a good or bad thing

I would think they would mix up the teams a bit
I seen armagh training last year before they played donegal.

They had two team with rain nugent and the other suspended players in the B team. The A team was what they expected to play had the ban not been over turned.

Having a sisters boyfriend playing county football he also confirmed they do A v B games for the reason i stated about.

To me very strange but what would i know

Believe it's similar to Rugby. There's return to play protocols that have to be adhered to. And no matter how much management might want him to play, if he's not cleared by medical staff then he won't play, simple as! They most certainly won't put a young man's health at risk, relegation battle or not.

We have Nugent, Murnin, Kelly, Turbitt, Duffy, Campbell, Grugan, Cumisky to pick a forward line from, Kierans as well. Likely even missing someone here also.

Crealey, Mackin, Grimley, Og Burns, Connaire Mackin also back that we can pick a midfield from.

Rian a big loss with injury but hopefully the lads step up to the plate.

Big Rafferty in nets, Mc Cambridge, Forker, Finn, McCabe, McKay for the backline, would C o Neill be back even here. Sure theres options. Connaire Mackin can play in the half back line. Og Burns can play there and likely start there as well. Having both Mackins and Crealey back gives us a better spread of options.

To Omagh we go
