The management can’t put the ball over the bar for them
I didn’t think the set up was overly bad today, contained Galway well and created enough chances to easily win the game but the forwards can’t put the ball over the bar
It was like watching a relay of the Roscommon second half

We had no idea how to break down their excellent defensive set-up in the 2nd half.

Maybe some of you boys would consider taking a few hours with your thoughts before posting any further?

Poor performance this evening, but not one meriting that reaction. A few really shameful contributions already. Remember the distance this team has travelled, remember the work that has made that possible.
This team has been in Div 1 for 3 years havv by e got there by being brave and playing good football the lady 3/4 games have been awful. Defensive, negative backwards. We were in a great position to win but managed to throw it away. People aren’t being nasty they are saying as they find - did you find any different?

Shameful is a bit strong - just people expressing their opinions, as you are yours, which makes discussion forums like this successful. A lot of rightly frustrated supporters out there as the performances so far this year have been poor.

Sack him now. The team look scared to play football and the packed attack leaves our players no space. When your keeper is your top scorer it says it all.

We got what we deserved today a its massive next week

It was a poor performance and game swung on an uncharacteristic mistake near the end. The team and management won’t be happy with today’s performance either. They will just have to go and get a result in Omagh next week
It's been a pattern all season! 2 kickouts thrown up it's shocking

Which uncharacteristic mistake was that?

We are shocking when we are in the lead. Donegal monaghan galway all in cruise control and for some reason stop playing

When we where 5 down v mayo we played and got level. Today as soon as they scored their goal we created a goal chance and scored a point the first score for 33 min.

All to oftet we have 4 in a full forward line opposition defensives love that how a forward get a shot off i dont know.

Very very frustrating.

Shocking 2nd half.Woeful in nearly every department.
But that joke of a ref fcuk!!!
He is hateful human being.
Who doesn't let medical staff onto a field to treat injuries???????

Hard to know where to start or what to say after that.

Horrendous stuff across the park. A few lads there have just not stepped up the last few weeks when it really mattered.

Soupy looks miles off at the minute. His handling and decision making has been so poor. Jarly Óg reverted back to form this evening after a great game the last day out. Running in to blind alleys and recycling the ball instead of taking his man on. We're getting very little tune out of Rian at the minute. Ross McQuillan's ball handling had been akin to an underage footballer not to mention poor decision making again. Grugan clearly not right and was well off the pace today. It's a bad sign when our Goalkeeper is the only threatening attacking player.

A word on Nugent too. Extremely lucky not to see red. Not sure how he didn't to be honest. Looked as clear a strike as could be and right in front of the linesman. Very foolish stuff having only returned from injury.

All that being said, David Gough was dreadful. Couldn't hide his anti Armagh bias. And to not let medical staff on to treat an injured player was an exercise in power for him.

Galway were as defensive if not more than us, particularly in the first half but in general throughout the game the player a negative brand of football and it dragged us in to the same game. We threw away a 5 point lead. Why does this keep happening and how do we address it?

Management have to come in for some criticism of course but when your players are kicking balls in to keepers hands, over carrying, shooting from stupid angles, dropping balls and handling them on the ground, it's hard to blame that on the line.

We're in a desperate situation now in terms of staying up. Tyrone's front 6 will be a lot more potent that today's also.

We may hope we've a few more injured men back and other than that, pray a rosary or 50.

Could someone please explain why a county footballer cannot be trusted to play with a yellow card. Cumiskey was one of Armaghs best players in the first half. It was ridiculous to take him off straight away.
Every sub apart form Grimley contributed negatively to the result more or less. Mc Qullian proved why he hasn’t been starting. His decision making is atrocious.
Sad to say but I feel that could be the last we see of Sheridan in an armagh jersey. Absolutely miles off the pace. Also while nugent scored a point his discipline at the end was dire.
All in all one of the most depressing armagh matches I’ve ever been at.

Can't see a positive ulster journey with the league results so far, if we don't perform in ulster mc Geeney must step aside because 1 thing is for sure, our weak county boars will never sack our all ireland winning captain

So frustrating. Might do a longer post tomorrow, sick as a dog after that. Did so much so well especially first half and then to totally collapse. Silly errors and basic mistakes again.

Take the positives and move on to the next one as always. Gonna be a war.
