Anyone taking a guess at a team for Saturday?

Very difficult with the first choice 15 playing behind closed doors. Can only speculate who from McKennna Cup games might have played their way in...

1. Magill
2. Burns
3. McKay
4. Forker
5. McCabe
6. McCambridge
7. Conor O'Neill
8. McPartland
9. Crealy
10. T. Kelly
11. Grugan
12. Soupy
13. Turbitt
14. Murnin
15. Rian O'Neill

Could be miles off, who knows.
I’d say Oisin ONeill will start

Can see the argument but he looked very leggy against Derry I thought. Maybe more likely to be integrated slowly given his history. But equally I wouldn't be surpised to see him at 14. We also have no idea about the fitness of the 'regulars' so who knows

Seems to me like a boy that just needs as much football as possible to get him up to speed, not sure about anyone else but personally speaking if I was ever out of action for a while I wanted to play games all the time to get back into the swing of it.

He played the last few games of the league and entire championship for cross?

I don't understand people thinking we will struggle to get out of division 2 this year. Cork, Kildare, Meath, Louth, Fermanagh, Cavan are all well below us. They are all ket. If we are not beating them there is something seriously wrong. Honestly.

As for people mentioning last season. Bar the Derry game, it was the only complete performance we put together worth talking about. We completely fluked Galway down in Leitrim. They were brutal, we were poor but managed to steal it at the end.

We will be without Rian O'Neill for most of the league and maybe championship which is a big loss.

Cork and Kildare are good sides that are on the up but yes we should still be beating them well but can take nothing for granted.

Last I heard Rian was back training and will be available. I know we all heard the rumours that were going round whatsapp.

Geographically they are all below us.

We might be better on paper, but we still have to go out and perform against each of them. And as you say, if Rian O’Neill is missing, then that will obviously make our Div 2 campaign all the harder.

As for the Galway game last year, give the lads a bit of credit. Maybe Galway weren’t great, but maybe that was down to us not letting them play?

Are some people reluctant to give credit were its due because that would look like they are fully behind McGeeney as manager?

Rian was on the sideline with Aidan Nugent at the Derry game

I'd say he will go strong although I hope he bloods other lads in, think your team isn't miles away from what it will be, don't see Rian starting

Maybe its to do with underperforming when it mattered the last two years? Personal gripes aside. This team should be in Div 1 and have won an ulster title and reached two all ireland semi-finals.

Yeah he did but this is obviously different level we need him to be at now, which he is well fit for.
I don't think he's fit. Maybe its an accumulation of injuries, but he is a different frame now to 2020 (v Monaghan) he was in some shape. Think he has too much bulk on now which could also be affecting his mobility.

Are children free into this game on Saturday? there doesn't appear to be an option to purchase for a child through Ticketmaster.
