We were terrible in every single aspect. I am very concerned.

Got out of jail there.
Louth the better team. More assured on the ball, cleaner in the tackle, hungrier in the tackle and look like a physically stronger outfit in general.
Everything we done well came off the cuff playing front foot attacking football and it doesnt happen anywhere near enough for my liking.
Huge improvements needed

Referee kept Louth in that - we were poor ourselves and shouldn't have been in that position

I didn't blame there referee - he was terrible, which he was.

We were brutal in almost every aspect of that game - our fault.

Absolutely awful. I know it was the first game for a lot of players, but that doesn’t excuse some of the performances and decision making. Conor O’Neills turnover at the end summed up the entire performance. We are so slow and lacking in invention when the game is slowed down. When we turnover the ball we look dangerous on the counter attack. But you can’t rely on that for an entire game, you have to be better an scoring more freely from play and we struggle massively to do that.

It’s the first game of the League and you can excuse rustiness. But we look as ponderous as we did last season which is a real worry.
