Poor forward play at crucial moments costs us again. Soupy had 2 bad shots that should’ve been scores straight after the penalty save, then got turned inside out in defence to allow Donegal in for an equaliser. We must have gave it away 5 times in the second half from misplaced hand passes. That lack of quality in big moments, from what should be our more mature players, is why we don’t get big wins.

Unfortunately the standard between Div 1 and Div 2 is plain to see, well at this stage of the season anyway, Derry and Dublin look streets ahead of the rest so far

Happy enough to be honest. Our style of play is causing far more problems and is much easier to watch. Yes, we possibly could have won if Jarly had scored at the end but Blaine's penalty save makes up for that in my opinion. When Gallen was stepping up to take the penalty we didn't look like we would get a draw. We are certainly seeing progress and I am much more optimistic than I was a few weeks ago.
I feel the need to commend the management (not that they will give a shite about me), we appear to have a much more settled panel and it is clear they have looked at the issues of previous years and have made changes accordingly.
I can't see Ethan getting the no. 1 jersey back, Blaine has been excellent all year.
Well done to all concerned.

Jesus Jarly kick the f ing ball over the bar
Negative
Serious amount of handling errors
A lot of stupid fouls in the scoring zone
Positives
Rian is back - you could hear the lift it gave the place - although didn’t contribute much bar that outstanding point at the end
Some good attacking play
Blaine’s save
Stopping the Jimmy train without a full deck

I didn’t think Armagh played well, but Donegal didn’t either. Massive difference in standard from this game and the games in Division 1.

Promotion looks certain, which was the goal out of this league campaign so happy enough, especially when they haven’t fielded any thing close to their best 15 yet.

When Rafferty’s back I’d just stick him at wing forward and leave Blaine in goals. His kickouts and presence under the high ball are just miles better, and obviously the penalty stop today was massive. He’s too short to catch any points that just clip over the bar, but overall I think they’re a better team with him in goals

He’s done this before too, maybe it just hasn’t been noticed in smaller moments. He always seems to go for the fist even at ridiculous angles/distances. Kind of inexcusable for an intercounty player to be afraid to shoot from inside the 14
