I was thinking that.

James Morgan had a good first half. Was he injured or was it a tactical decision, as he was on a yellow card, to take him off
Tactical on yellow and them gonna hit long ball in. Our kick out strategy was Terrible! Charlie motm. Grugan quiet again and hall won some dirty balls for us. 2 often we had no men forward and in 2nd half had McKay on their square! Lots of work to do but 1 more win should keep us up. Donegal will be hurting and very dangerous

Good win today. Got ahead and stayed there. Still missed some chances up front. Defensively I thought Armagh were excellent. Aaron McKay has his best game in an armagh jersey. He was truly exceptional. Charlie proved he still has a lot to offer. Cant understand why he hasn’t been used more this year. Up and down the field- and finally ended up in full back. Grimley put in some great tackles, forker had his best game of the year so far. Good to see Ethan back from injury!! League is very tight... cork could be relegated by the time armagh play them in the final game. I still think we will need something from that game to stay in div 2.

The last time we were in division 3 we went down with 6 points. Two more wins needed to be safe

Thought today was an efficient performance. Coming out for the second half 5 up, a man up and down the hill Armagh kept the score board ticking over and kept goal chances for Tipperary to a minimum. On occasions the crowd got on the teams back for continually recycling the ball but in my opinion it was Tipperary who needed to come looking the ball. Armagh were well ahead and going gung ho could have left them open on the counter attack. We have lost enough leads. I felt defence was solid and Vernon and Hall played well. Grimley had his best outing in a while.

Unlikely that tipp and Clare will win both their next 2 matches... play cork/Kildare and ferm/Meath respectively. Because they play each other in the last game... likely that one more win will see Armagh safe. Armagh should beat Fermanagh and cork at home.

I’d say that cork will go down with the loser of Clare and tipp.

There can be no excuses tomorrow. A win, no matter how we get, is a must.

I believe Geezer needs one of 2 things to justify a sixth year in charge - promotion or a place in the super 8s. I believe promotion (Most on here don't seem to want promotion) is still realistic with a win tomorrow, however, a draw or defeat will represent a shambolic start to the league.

Its hard to be confident given the recent results but let's get behind them
I agree with you Bert and to be fair I'm not sure I'm keen on heading to division one and I'll give my reason simply as I don't want to see us come straight back down again. I think that would do us harm. Now to contradict that, would I want us in division one if we got the chance? Abso-blooming-lutely and we "should" be trying to get there!! I'd love to say we were in the top flight. I'm just thinking we might learn from a great year in division two and then put that experience to use next year being stronger and more confident and then earning the right to have a pop at the top teams.

That might fly in the face of some things I posted in the past, but hey, I've lost my tinted glasses. One thing for sure, up, down or stay, I'm still gonna be there when I can.

I wouldn’t bet on is beating fermanagh the way they are going at the moment

I'm still not happy we are closing games out the way we should. We made some stupid mistakes at crucial times, simple things like using the boot instead of fist passing. Paul Hughes made a number of these but I will put it down to him just getting back to match fitness.
