What's the injury that Murnin is carrying? Not another hamstring issue?

I'm disappointed not to have seen much if any of Ross McQuillan play. He's an exceptional talent by all accounts, with searing pace. We've really missed a player with that next level of speed, that can tear teams apart, since Caolan Rafferty left for Hong Kong a number of years back (it's a real shame that his county career went by the way side as he was an outstanding player). I'd hoped to see some of McQuillan against Tipperary, when the game was up.

It's been frustrating alright that we haven't seen murnin yet as I'd love to see how he and Rian O'Neill would combine. Rian seems to be the one player who plays a long direct kick pass when he wins position around the middle of the field and I think murnin would thrive on that supply of ball. Oisin has also been sorely missed

McQuillan would also be a fantastic addition although he would need to be given time to adopt

@Uptheorchard you're obviously a huge Ross McQuillan fan, I did a quick forum search as I thought I'd read on here that he was injured & discovered that you post about him on a fairly regular basis :) If he's as good as you're saying I'm sure he will get his chance.

Although would be great to see mcquillan playing a bit more (rumours of injury or possibly heading to AFL) if he is fit, it isn’t the worst thing in the world for management to not throw him in at the deep end of inter county football without giving the lad a few weeks/months training at the level. He’s going to be around for years, but not if he gets burnt out early.
