There's a good deal of positivity on the forum with a fair amount of differing opinion showing gaps in what we are doing and everyone seems to be able to have their say without being abused for it. Thank goodness we don't have the old Bainisteoir as it seems he was the cause of a lot of the old arguments on the other official site. This seems so much better because it doesn't have a hand on it by the county and we're free to express. Pretty cool actually and I find myself agreeing with a lot of the views and opinions that are maybe not what I normally want to hear, but accept they are correct or valid because it's not just to raise an argument. Surprising but enjoyable interactions guys and gals!!

On to the Fermanagh game, our lads really need to play their own game. We all know how hyper defensive They will be and as @Suil eile. points out after seeing them on Sunday
Fermanagh are a well drilled side and their discipline is a lot better than us. They defend in numbers and break at pace with runners coming at angles inside the opponents 45. .
This means if someone supporting the team and with a brain for tactics can obviously see how they set up and play, then the intelligence in our management and statistical analysis team can surely sit down with the squad and simply say, "look lads this is what's happening and will happen. Let's not get sucked in and do what we do well. When we are in possession we are all forwards. When we are trying to turn the ball over we are all defenders prepared to immediately return to attack when we achieve that aim!" A simple plan for a simple game. One thing I noticed over a few games is that when we are taking our kick outs we tend to want to "mark" the opposition. Why is that our job? My thought would be to have fourteen players making space and keeping their lads busy trying to stop us getting to the ball instead of giving them importance. It's sports psychology. In fact it's basic psychology. Make them feel inferior and you have an upper hand, make them important.........

Discipline, discipline and discipline are vital in the next few games. Someone tackles you high and/or hard go down and play the game as frustrating and loathsome as it is. Beat fire with fire so to speak. Along with many others I'll hate the tactic, but we need results, not suspended players. Let's get a reputation for "hard and fair" not dirty. Simple changes that really aren't changes. Add to that, take easy scores. Pop the ball over the bar especially reintroducing fisting the ball over when we're within range and by some of the passes we make, that's anywhere from around 30 odd metres. Spectacular goals are great for morale, so guess what wins will do!!!

A bit touchy there?
Should we never mention the manager's record? No-one mentioned sacking the manager (except you). However now that you have brought it up..........imagine how we might we with this strong squad and good tactical brains on the line.
For later perhaps ( but that conversation needs to happen at some stsge).
Fair play- if there's anything worse than being lambasted, it's being ignored.

So Kevin McStay reckon Meath and Kildare are heading in the right direction to challenge Dublin in Leinster. He does state that they're not capable of winning yet, just challenging. So if we drew with Kildare and gave Meath a rattle that means we must also be moving in the right direction using that logic - of course the source is our favourite "fake news reporters" :D http://www.hoganstand.com/Article/I...Q7ZcxLHcdcnIaFf-nmVMOJnNz358Cuix9gQJccq0pmIgQ

I've mentioned on here a multitude of times that I don't read or even glance at the printed trash calling itself the Irish News, but I got this link sent to me just to take a look at biased reporting. Jesus if you want your blood to boil and read a complete one sided piece read it. If you're of the opinion that Armagh players and management are useless, then this is exactly what you'll love so fill your boots. Not a single mention that Donegal may have made a bad or wrong tackle, but highlight that Armagh did wrong almost every tackle. It's not just the southern media we get vilified by. These tramps are a lot closer to home - by the way, in case anyone thinks I'm saying we were angels read a few of my previous posts especially surrounding the Stevie Sheridan incident.

It is time our county took exception to these arseholes and withdrew co-operation and interview rights completely.
