As the championship now draws into focus, it was heartening to see players returning from injury- most notably Rafferty, Mc Parland and particularly Dyas. With others hopefully to follow, competition for starting places should be really hotting up and this can only be a good thing.

Also good to see Ryan McShane back, it was like he'd never been away :)

Refereeing highlighted again in this Cavan v Roscommon game. If our ref from yesterday had been doing this Cavan game there'd be fouls blown for touching a player, probably a lock of yellows and loads of skurmishs.
Instead two teams here know whats allowed and the game goes on.
Frustrating for players and spectators

The one who didn’t get a black card. This was in the second half

The one who did get the black card, Sean, should have been red carded. I watched the 1st half again last night, he went in with an elbow up into Gregory McCabe's jaw/chin after Gregory played the ball.

So here is the thing, those of us who go to watch the match live record it if it's being televised so we can watch it again at home, maybe even have an opportunity to see things we missed during the match. I know it may seem like a totally amazing concept but I'm quite sure I'm not the only person who does this :D

"Only turned up for the 2nd half again" what are you talking about? I have never missed the 1st half of an Armagh match!!!

You certainly aren’t. I’ve rewatched it twice now. I think I rewatched the down game form last year 3 times

Yes I do the same. You see the game from a different viewpoint, and of course, the cameras pick up wee things you miss.

I think @ragingbull is just used to arriving at a game at half time hoping the stewards will let him in without paying :D

Speaking of rewatching games. I've never watched the 03 final since. I don't think I've rewatched the 05 semi either. I just cannae do it, captain.
