Heart rate just getting back to normal, what a finish from our lads & in that heat!!!!!!! I'm knackered & i was only spectating. Brilliant to see the colour of our supporters & hear them cheering the boys on to the win, it reminded me of the good old days.

I thought our Championship was over after the rebound was scored from the penalty (great save by Blaine) but credit to our boys there was no giving up until the final whistle & got the win. It seemed that it was going to be one of those days, half chances just slipped away one after another & add to that the frees missed, but it came good at the right time & we were ahead on the scoreboard when it mattered. It ended up being another great day out as an Armagh supporter & thanks to the hard work of all involved in our squad & management we get another day out, this is what the Summer is all about :)Now to make it a perfect day Cavan to beat them uns :(:D

Congratulations to Geezer & the boys.

Well done Armagh, I thought our goose was cooked when the penalty went in, but the lads showed great grit, determination & skill to pull it out of the bag. Clare we’re very good, their mid field was v strong & they seemed to get their a score much handier.

Ok so a few kick outs went array but overall Hughes is a very good goalkeeper with 2 excellent saves today. Jemar Hall worked his sock off, when good ball goes into Andy and grugan they can cause havoc. The subs did well when the cane on partularly mcquillan & Mc Elroy

Onwards and upwards... up the orchard

Okay now breathe ....

Jesus I thought we were goners , apart from the first 5 mons and the last 5mins and injury time we were appalling, simply awful and Clare must feel very hard done by .

However we came through and won we got two well worked goals and we put Clare to the jugular went we got on top .

Rory Grugan kept us on the match he really stood up when we needed him a fantastic captain and leader he kept I’d on the game , Niall Grimley on the last 10 minutes was brilliant , Aidan Forker had a few things that went wrong but he really kept going and was instrumental in the first goal , honorable mention to the suns who came on also and made a big difference .

Worries would be that the ease that Clare scored compared to the work we had to do , our defending between the half forwards and half backs was slack and we need to get tighter.

Thankfully we are one game away from the Super 8 that game must have been energy sapping hopefully we recover okay as we need to go up a rung of quality again .

Oooh me nerves ...

Great to be in the draw for Monday morning.
We were creating and making chances in the first half but Clare were efficient in front of goals.
Second half we were suffering in not taking chances and Clares efficiency in front of goal.
When they scored the penalty most teams would have thrown in the towel.
Not this team.
It spurred them on and what a last 12mins or so. Excellent stuff.
Fair credit to both sets of players for producing such a great game in such weather conditions.
Great to see the young u20 guys coming on at the end.
The future is looking a lot better
