Good impact guy to bring on when legs are tiring and game become a little more open. It worked well against Clare who looked flat out on their feet in that last seven minutes.
I was reading some of the Clare lads lost 2.5 to 5kg of body weight during that game

I'm sure I'll get it in the neck for saying this but we do need to realise that we are an up an coming team and that we have probably achieved what we needed to already this season. In truth if we were to get to the S8s it may not be of much benefit as I don't think we are ready to compete with Dublin, Donegal or Tyrone yet and the experience could have detrimental effects. On saying that it would be a major achievement to get there and I would obviously love to beat Roscommon.

I think I am trying to get rid of my nerves by downplaying our chances, ohhh, where's the toilet!!
You'll not get it in the neck from me when I agree almost entirely. Just not sure that lads will think they've achieved what they needed just yet. Yes promotion back to Div. 2 of the NFL may have been a goal (where we need to be to have any prospect of developing with some of the better and more competitive teams - now we can dream of that place back in Div. 1), but I'd also imagine the lads wanted to prove that the quarter final stage last year wasn't a flash in the pan, but realisable this year again, even if it's now called the "super-cash cow-eights". I also genuinely believe we could/would beat Tyrone at the minute. I'm not so sure they're as far ahead of us as they might think. One more win gives us 3 serious games against the best in the country. Now that WOULD be a serious step up and massive move forward to be coming from Div. 3 and finishing as one of the top tier.

It's like I heard the Athletic Grounds being described last year. The best facilities anywhere, in Division 3. We'd be the top ranked lowest ranking team this summer!

Kevin McStay might not have been my favourite pundit, but he's raised my positivity!

Plus I really want to get further than Fermanagh to show that them beating us in Brewster Park on the 19th of May ultimately meant nothing. We will still end our Season with silverware whatever happens, whereas Fermanagh, hmmmmmmm now let me just think about that one............ :D

Still no team named, it’s normally named before now. Don’t no if that’s a good sign or a bad one.

Agreed why isnt the team out there?
Dont they have to submit something for the programme in advance?
Even if its wrong it gives us something to discuss

Safe travels to everyone and the best of luck to our lads.

Not overly confident, but not too worried either strangely. Just looking forward to it.

Hear you all tomorrow. Remember too if you have an auld flag to bring it along and let's get back into the spirit of this championship thing. Sure as they used to say "NOTHING BEATS BEING THERE!"

My flag never misses a Championship match :) I am hoping it will be waved numerous times tomorrow along with a small green flag & white flag for us, let's keep our umpires busy, hope their arms are aching of a Sunday.
