Can we win on Saturday? Of course we can, Will the road be full of us hopeless cases again? Of course it will. Will the naysayers ever succeed in dampening our enthusiasm? Well, yes but only for a week or two and then like delusional mad yokes we take to the highways again as certain as ever that we are fit for any team on the day. Ahhh, daft as brushes the lot of us.....

That's what football does to you :D

Positivity is brewing. Good to see. I think it's all down to @Dinny ;)

On another note, time is running out for signing up for the Sweepstake.

Imagine if some eejit like @Calm1 @Willie Frazer or @cailín beag88 won it. They'll be bragging about it until the next one comes around in 2022. You have to stop that :D

Ahem, I know it was a while ago but that sounds a bit like something I said a few years ago!! Except I had the balls to actually open a new thread with it. :p:p Do you mind how our old friend Sliothar reacted?? We actually did win the game.;)
Great minds and all that!!

Oh yeah, I remember. Best piece of argumentative reaction making a knob outta him/herself we seen in some time and that takes some doing on a forum!!

It's as simple as this, we WILL win on Saturday and not by a country mile, but enough to give the lads confidence again.

Whether we believe that the performance of Fermanagh on Sunday past shows we weren't as bad as we thought, or not, it did show that with a bit of direction and self belief, almost anything is achievable!

By god it was difficult to watch, but entertaining at the same time for a sadist. I really hope that the defeat to Fermanagh hurt our guys 100 times more than the loss to Tyrone in '03 did to that squad.

We ARE much better than Westmeath and I believe that, no matter what anyone else thinks. Yes we are lacking a few key players that would make us really good, but regardless of who is there and who is missing, who got a call up or who didn't or even opted out for whatever reason, the lads that are there deserve every breath of our support. Stupidity of clubs not backing the county need to put into the background. Those of us that watched the Armagh tv show a few weeks back saw Paul Hearty completely show his support for the team and knock those that say there is no interest from the most successful club in Ulster and possibly Ireland. Regardless of club, this is our county and the players do not leave home thinking they are losers. They leave hoping they are winners. It's exactly how we should leave too. Like @Ard Mhacha 13 says, BE THAT 16th Player.

In David Gough we know we have a useless [person with unmarried parents] of a referee, who doesn't know the difference between a free and a penalty. Let's play him and knock the bejaysus outta those burgundy boys or at the very least, send them home wishing they hadn't got outta bed and left home hoping to win!!

Armagh have no excuses then. A limited WM team missing their marquis player and a couple of other starters with injury/emigration should not be beating us, simple as that.

It is a Nicky Rackard Playoff between Leitrim & Louth. The only reason I know this is because it shows it when you go into your "Tickets" option for Season ticket holders.

So it turns out I was right after all about there being a hurling match before our match ;):)
