It's as simple as this, we WILL win on Saturday and not by a country mile, but enough to give the lads confidence again.
Whether we believe that the performance of Fermanagh on Sunday past shows we weren't as bad as we thought, or not, it did show that with a bit of direction and self belief, almost anything is achievable!
By god it was difficult to watch, but entertaining at the same time for a sadist. I really hope that the defeat to Fermanagh hurt our guys 100 times more than the loss to Tyrone in '03 did to that squad.
We ARE much better than Westmeath and I believe that, no matter what anyone else thinks. Yes we are lacking a few key players that would make us really good, but regardless of who is there and who is missing, who got a call up or who didn't or even opted out for whatever reason, the lads that are there deserve every breath of our support. Stupidity of clubs not backing the county need to put into the background. Those of us that watched the Armagh tv show a few weeks back saw Paul Hearty completely show his support for the team and knock those that say there is no interest from the most successful club in Ulster and possibly Ireland. Regardless of club, this is our county and the players do not leave home thinking they are losers. They leave hoping they are winners. It's exactly how we should leave too. Like
@Ard Mhacha 13 says, BE THAT 16th Player.
In David Gough we know we have a useless [person with unmarried parents] of a referee, who doesn't know the difference between a free and a penalty. Let's play him and knock the bejaysus outta those burgundy boys or at the very least, send them home wishing they hadn't got outta bed and left home hoping to win!!
