What a f**king win... glad to get one over on Monaghan too, we were well due giving them a good lesson.

Losing words for rian o neill, top scorer I read in the all Ireland championship thus far. Special player. Exciting times ahead. Unreal to see so many different scorers too.

We are being talked about again which although early days is still good to hear.

I think that was our first win against Monaghan since that 2006 replay win.

They beat us by a point AET in 2009, beat us by a big margin in 2010, and after a replay in 2014.

Nice to get another monkey off our backs.

In the US at minute and have been brooding about this game all week. I just had a feeling that this could be a real coming of age game for this team and it looks like this may be the case. Fantastic result and well done players, management and all involved. Looking forward to reading comments and reviews from on this board. Enjoy hearing about the game from fans rather than reading usual media outlet. I'm off now for a few margaritas to celebrate
Have to spare a thought for the hurlers. Just looking on twitter-seemed to be in control but in 4 added minutes injury time, they got sucker punched with 1-1 from Sligo to get beaten by a point. Fecking heart breaking.
