Seems we should be concentrating on the games and debating results bcb1. Seems some quarters think we're actually getting a great deal from our county board https://www.sportsjoe.ie/gaa/armagh-offering-class-deal-supporters-looking-watch-championship-games-weekend-179903?utm_content=buffer827bc&utm_medium=Social organic&utm_source=Twitter&utm_campaign=Buffer

I wonder did someone see what I put up about the weekend pass in Meath and the following discussion and think that’s a good idea!

Should be good game in Armagh this evening with Cross going for their 4th Div 1 minor championship in their 5th final in succession against Armagh Harps Pity it couldn't have been played before tomorrow's senior semi like previous yrs

nab 0-5 maghery 0-5 ht poor enough game

I'm sure the nab will be happy with an ugly win. Thought Maghery were set up too defensive to push on and win the game although they will be disappointed with their shot selection/wide count in the last 10 minutes .

Impossible to comment on that game without the referee dominating the debate, great and all as it is to see a game flow it's not hurling and frees need to be called. If i was a Cullyhanna supprter I'd be furious, the ref's performance in the the first 20 minutes was a disgrace and he totally altered the complexion of the game. He didnt improve much after that but at least he was shite for both teams.

Disappointed with the Cullies, they were nearly as bad as us. Reminded me of Donegal when they were aimless pre McGuinness, fannying about with the ball with no real purpose.

Fair play to Cross, they look like they're back with a good team, I can't help but feel teams lie down in front of them tho, hopefully the Nab will have a go, they've nothing to lose.

The only real question that remains unanswered from today’s match was how was there room for two teams and the referees ego on the one pitch?

Cross were good and by far the best team but speaking as a neutral the ref ruined it.

I couldn’t understand half the refs decisions at times. McKenna got the black and subsequent red for being hauled down. Don’t understand how Hanratty didn’t get a red. They’re two Big ones. Lots and lots of smaller ones.

Rian O’Neill is a super player. That point form near the sideline was brilliant.
Paul Hughes was superb today.
A Kernan and his fence hopping also very good.
I could watch Morgan defend all day, the lad would tackle a steam train if he could.
Disappointed in Cullyhanna, I thought they were a lot better than what they showed today.
Cross to win outright.

Do you still think the Nab are favourites after today?

We probably are favourites now on reputation and the fact we are getting some form. I’m curious to know why there is such a feeling about the ref. I thought he did rightly. Let the game flow, let a fair bit go on both sides, will give him the benefit of the doubt on the McKenna Black as he was right beside it but my nephew said Titch was tripped in the corner for the yellow and he was standing beside it. Couldn’t see the black cars for Johnny McKeever so will not dispute it but had a clear enough sight of Ciaran McKeevers and be tripped him. I don’t think he favoured either side overly much. Both sides got some easy frees.

Anyway as I said I’m surprised we won but was very pleased with improving work defensively and have James back there makes a huge difference. Rian O Neill is a joy to watch. Cullyhanna has a few cuts at young Cian McConville but he was able to stand up to it. That goal chance would have been a nice cherry on the top.

Took in most of the matches this weekend, the wife’s going to divorce me anyway, thought the 2 senior semi finals were poor enough affairs, particularly this evening games, which really never go going, very stop start. Cross were easily the better team, O’Neill Hughes & Kerman were excellent. Cullyhanna were very disappointing, appeared to have no game plan particularly in attack, why was o Connell not on O’Neill from the start? ref was brutal, some headscratching decisions

Thought the Harps minors played well against cross, with the excellent mc convulse the big difference between the teams.

Ceide were excellent and far to strong for port mor, they should give Ulster a good rattle.
