Madden & Harps agreed to have the game in the Athletic Grounds thinking TG4 were going to show the game but their Silverbridge vs Shane O'Neills game instead plus Armagh TV can't show Madden vs Harps games cause its the same time as the Silverbridge vs Shane O’Neills game which would take the views away from the Silverbridge vs Shane O’Neills game if it had of been on ATV

Clan Na Gael 4-12 Sarsfields 2-12, Clans were 4 down with 12 mins left scored 2-5 in that time

The situation whereby Dromintee finish ahead of Maghery despite having a minus 23 scoring difference to Maghery's minus 5 is surely an anomaly. I cannot understand the logic of head to head. It does not accurately reflect the totality of a team's performances in a league competition but rather only reflects the outcome of one game.

And the outcome of one game is championship football.

The real stuff starts next week.

It’s a pretty crap set up that lets teams get comprehensively beaten twice and still make it through to the playoffs.

If it were the other way round it would make less sense, being knocked out by a team you’ve beaten, and it would basically have given maghery nothing to play for in the final game. Dromintee would have been setting out to simply avoid getting beat by 12. That would be some spectacle to watch.

In the end the group of death finishes in line with its seeding. Group B looks the only other destined to do the same, unless grange can turn St Peter’s over.

It's in the official guide
It's the rules
You want to change it start the process - no problems but solutions
