Well done Cross. It’s like they turned on a button just after half time and decided it’s time to trounce this lot. Nab disappointing. Ran out of ideas. All fart and no shite. They remind me of Dromintee of the noughties.
Unfortunately for the nab they seem to have inherited the mantle of gallant runners up from Dromintee.

Crossmaglen are just a different class altogether. Although Ballymacnab controlled the first half and then got the second goal you just knew Cross weren't finished and so it was.

The Nab forward line/team were shut down after than goal and the Crossmaglen juggernaut rolled in and Ballymacnab couldn't handle it. Crossmaglen are a joy to watch when this happens.

Grugan got a bit excitable after his goal - anyone know why? I missed it.

Great to add to the collection of trophies. First half our intensity just wasn't there. Won’t do in Ulster. Lifted it up in the second half. Even when they got the goal we were lifting it further. Scored enough in the second half to win most games and that was done to a lift in work rate. We have the mentality to win and that cannot be coached.

Clontibret will be a step up but a lot will depend on what their ambition is. Nice side story with John Mac managing them. Will be strong and we will need to be at our second half level for the whole hour.

Interesting side show to today’s game....the county manager took Ballymacnab for a number of sessions in the build up to the final according to sources. It made no difference in the long run but is it appropriate for a county manager to train a club team in the build up to a county final? Personally I don’t think it is....

I wouldn't worry BCB. Nab dont have the players to compete when Cross are in that form. Would be good if the best coaches in the county shared their knowledge with all clubs...but Cross will never do that. :p

I don’t think it is either. Surely a conflict of interests. But I would wonder how reliable the sources are

I would really hope this isn’t true as a number of years ago the County manager was asked to give 10-15min of his time for a talk to the Armagh u16 champions just before they started their Ulster u16 campaign.....on the grounds it would be unfair to the other teams in Armagh........it would be very poor form to blank the team representing Armagh in Ulster and yet do something like this.....

Decent final today, very similar to last years game I would say. Ballymacnab gave it their all in the first 40 mins or so but you could tell the tide had turned, Cross just pushed up and completely took over midfield. No one in the county can live with them when they play anywhere near their best. They have a wealth of experience to bring off the bench too, like Tony Kernan, Hanratty, Carragher, McKeown etc

Hope that's right TB as I'm off that weekend for a long break and will definitely get to it if it's an evening game. Wifey having a night out with work!

Definitely on that night....delighted myself as it’s a Saturday night so match and a few pints post match with no Monday head!

Super. Even as a tee totaller I'd join ye for that bcb1. I have to congratulate you [well the club but you know what I mean] and add, what a day. Superb atmosphere and a game worthy of a county final. No negative football from either team. Worth climbing over the wall for Mr. O'Neill alone even if Aaron was quiet by his standard.

You took my advice then? :D

I hope you didn’t rip the arse out of your trousers... again!
