As a neutral, I thought the Cross supporters were an absolute disgrace. No grace whatsoever and their chanting in the far stand was an example of hooliganism.
I have just been told about this by someone in work, hooliganism would be putting it lightly if what I've been told is accurate. Chanting is not something we would be that familiar with in the GAA (although it seems to be creeping in a bit more) especially not from a group of middle aged men and women - as I am told it was on Sunday. Would really make you question why the players bother to make such a huge commitment, if this is what they are going to be faced with.

There is plenty of chanting at Armagh games and has been for a long time

Fair to say it was very derogatory towards a Ballymacnab player! I heard it on the day . the most disappointing part is that there were people involved who have mentored cross at all levels.
To get an understanding of what happened I would love you to name names but i completely understand the reluctance to do so. But don’t understand why the chant itself can’t be posted??

If it was really derogatory do you want it to be posted

Yes. If it’s derogatory towards an individual that individual does not need to named. I’m more interested in what people are chanting than who they are chanting at or about.

If something troubling is happening here then it’s better to talk about sensibly.

And if someone is being exaggerated then better to get that exposed as well
