wise up, taking the ulster final out of clones in the mid noughties was a load of crap. the atmosphere wasn't the same. I would agree clones needs a revamp as it has not changed one bit ever from what I know of. Where in ulster is fit to take the crowd? simple answer right now, clones.

Monaghan GAA haven't even upgraded the toilets.

They don't deserve big games.

If everyone got a ticket, nobody would ever get a break from their other halves.

We can’t be running to Croke Park any time there’s a big match. Clones is probably only full to capacity for an Ulster final. The rest of the time there’s plenty of room. Some will miss out, but that’s life.

Keep it in Ulster, I say, so I do. Those Dublin sh1tehawks will get enough of our money later on in the year
Give our money to the pubs, beer gardens shop's,restaurants, hotels in Clones instead of Dublin

It clear is fit to host when it's being hosting other games, people just want to have their wee day in croke park
Actually that’s actually not true
Look at the facts,
This is a provincial final ,
It’s a shambles to get to
The pubs are run down and there is no where to eat
The stadium is not fit for purpose
Armagh brought 16k to the down game ( as per county board ) each club received 114 tickets, this means kids ( not teenagers )wont get .
My house alone has 7 people looking to go who are all members of clubs ( we won’t get 7 tickets )and those who know me will appreciate that I give financially to club and county so 3 in my house will probably lose out which will probably include me as some of my kids have never seen Armagh in a final .
Rant over !

Completely not right and I know its only the very odd time that games totally sell out, but proper Armagh supporters like yourself shouldn’t be missing out because there is no fit for purpose stadium.

Hope you get sorted!

Discussion on tickets, where the game should be played etc will likely last the reminder of the week.

In terms of the game itself, Derry has been a team I’ve wanted us to play for the past 12 months. Think they’ll test us tactially and the match will be won or lost on the sidelines. Who do we put on their key players, do we go after derrys kickouts with a full press where they like to find wee pockets, does the inside forward line track Derrys deep runs..

Only Tuesday afternoon and starting to get the butterflies .. must be ulster final week..haven’t felt like this in 15 yrs!

Yeah i definitely wanted us to get a good crack at Derry last year, now is our chance. We will definitely need to track their runners, from what I saw of Monaghan game they just didnt do enough of that and got destroyed.

Been too long, isn’t it a great feeling!!

Anybody any team news or rumours, for what it’s worth here is what I have heard in past week from various sources, yous can make up your own mind how much of it turns out to be true come Sunday or beyond

1. James morgan fully fit
2. Niall Grimley ( really bad knee injury and might not play county football again)
3. Murnin fit to play but wearing one of them moon boot things as a precaution
4. Barry mccambridge in line to start to man mark Ethan Doherty.

Horrible news about Grimley if true, hopefully not as bad as that. Him and O'Neill would have been my first choice pairing and we may never see them again in orange.

On the plus, great news about the other 3
