Morgan had fouled McGuigan and then Rian came in late on him and got free moved up. In video you can see McGuigans face in Rians chest but not clear if there was a bite or not. Rian goes to ground. There is another video of Rian showing the ref a mark on his chest then afterwards.I haven't seen a picture or video, so not sure how mcguigan was awarded the free. I heard those chants before the game. To be honest it’s been around 20+ years but is absolutely not representative of Armagh or our supporters as a whole. The group or groups were typically 18-22 years old, very drunk & wouldn’t be seen at a league game in February in Mullingar or Ballybofey . It’s an unfortunate consequence of being a very well supported county.I enjoyed watching Derry beat Armagh particularly because of some of the Armagh people singing that there is no London in Armagh. Imagine a county that is ruled from Westminster making Londonderry jibes.
It reminds me of when Eoin Mulligan made a Londonderry joke on twitter, the man from the plantation town of Cookstown.
Derry ones were signing / chanting far worst in relation to our players.I enjoyed watching Derry beat Armagh particularly because of some of the Armagh people singing that there is no London in Armagh. Imagine a county that is ruled from Westminster making Londonderry jibes.

No, you’re right. It didn’t. You could say it all started way back in the 1600’s.Derry ones were signing / chanting far worst in relation to our players.
The ‘there is no London in Armagh’ has been a chant since I remember playing Derry in the 90s. It’s not something that started overnight.

Doesn’t make it right does it. I’m all for a bit of slagging but shite like that has no place at GAA games.Snowflake, heard a lot worse than that, this one time had bottles thrown at me and told to **** *** back to the to the North by Monaghan fans on my way back to the car in clones. Monaghan beat us in the back door game after extra time.
