Fermanagh are not great but have to say we where excellent, especially in the first half, kick way more ball in and pushed up for all kick outs and applied serious pressure, want us to do that no matter what the opposition, think paddy Burns was excellent again as was grugan and Crealy, think jarly og named at 15 but moving out to midfield and switching with Rian O'Neill every now and then worked well, think we dropped off the second half but think that was always gonna happen,

Good to see how clinical we were with the goals , the third goal was very satisfying as we butchered numerous of chances like that last year , some poor wides but conditions were decepitely harsh , would give the benefit of the doubt that in the 2nd half we took the foot off the gas , good to see Rian and Oisin get fair runs outs , would say the same team to start against the horrible red and black slabbers , looks like injury free as well , all positive .

The major positive I’d take from that game was the performance in the half back line of Ciaran Mackin. I think he’s far better suited playing there than midfield.
He has far more space to use his pace to drive forward. Thought he added a lot of impetus to the attack when things were looking fairly laboured. Also scored 2 points. I think it also goves us the opportunity to play the likes of roan or Oisin in midfield
It’s strange how an injury to an established player like Greg can perhaps change the lineup in a positive manner and it will be interesting to see team selection now for the semi final.

good win today, thought we played gr8 positive football 1st 20-25 mins. Game was over as a contest when 2nd goal went in. We never had to get out of 3rd gear thereafter. Nice & clinical for the goals. Fermanagh are a very poor side. I liked the look of Rian in the middle with Mackin at CHB. If McCabe gets back I’d also have him in the hb line. Thought Jarly Og tried really hard, Burns, Grugan & soupy also. Conaty had an off day, it happens, though Turbitt for me underwhelmed again, he seems to always come off second best in 50/50 physical tussles. Good to see Oisin get a good run. Onwards to Down ….

We were looking at the semi being 6pm so surely Clones won't be used as you have to allow for extra time and pens......the program allowed 2.5hrs today for that and that's without injury time..Omagh maybe?

Someone suggested 5pm throw in on Twitter?

Good win but Fermanagh are limited. Down will be a step up but should beat them. Biggest issue I see is that the level in both games will not be sufficient to bring the team up to championship pace for a final challenge. Down game will be atrocious as they are so negative. Would it be worth tossing a coin for Newry or Armagh?

Easy win today as Fermanagh were very poor although we dominated right from the start. Game was over after 20 mins so no surprise the level of performance fell off considerably.
A few disappointing things today-

Blaine was caught out on that cross ball when they should have scored a goal, great block by McKay. A goal at that stage may have led to a very different game.
Conaty and Turbo were poor up front today, and I thought Forker and to a lesser extent McGrane were very quiet today.
The subs made little impact, when they should have been busting a gut to make an impression.
However, overall a very positive day and having watched Down last night, hopefully it will be men against boys again in 2 weeks time.
