Wouldn’t believe a word you read or hear coming from either camp.

It obvious that we need a plan for Murphy irrespective of where he plays, McBrearty and the movement of Donegal’s big men around the middle. The pace of Mogan would worry me. We are not blessed with searing pace at the back. A fit Paddy Burns or dropping Hall back is possibly the best we have.I
I have been a supporter of Hall-I think the lads work rate and bravery are excellent and his constant running is one of the reasons that allow Soupy to later come in and do his thing against a tiring defence. But for this game, I worry about Hall's relative lack of physicality. As you highlight, I also expect Donegal to be eyeing the middle third as an area to dominate with their big running players, and I worry if Jemar will get enough oxygen in what will be a crowded and hard hitting environment. Although still not the biggest player, I think for Sunday Nugent might be a better option for a dropping back role. If true, it is unfortunate we will not have Ciaran Mackin for Sunday. I think our defensive shape this year benefited from his lung bursting runs and coverage he provided between the two 45s. I'm going on the earlier report that he sustained an injury to his eye socket which will leave him out for a good while-I hope that is a rumour, but the specifics to that story suggest it may be true enough. But we have excellent players to come in. Particularly hoping for big game from Oisin O'Neil; in the 2021 league game against Donegal he was imperious and another performance like that on Sunday would do our chances a lot of good.

The pain of Them Uns is hilarious! They appealed for years and the whole process was revamped because of them!

Anyway, huge weekend ahead. Minors take on Derry on Saturday and by all accounts are huge underdogs - time to get out and support them, and give them a lift as Derry will not travel!

Then to Sunday, I suspect we will have as many there as Donegal and will defo be more vocal! They will be very wary of us now, the appeals will have dampened their supporters enthusiasm! But we need to do our talking on the pitch now - this is 1 we just can't lose we've had a good league and need to build on it. The ref will set out his stall from the start and I feel could we could have a a target on our backs. And hopefully the ref will be strong enough not to fall for McHughs "simulating"! Keeping Murphy quiet is huge (understatement)! And I hope Sunday isn't the day that our goalkeeper isn't found out out not to be a goalkeeper..................

If we don't concede goals I think we will sneak it, but we will need at least 1.
If they cant beat a beat who wont even show up they can forget about it!

Biggest game in a while as an Armagh Fan. If we loose this it will sting I think hopefully the lads dont lose the run of themselves in the heat of battle on Sunday I have a feeling going to get hot and heavy... Great to have the lads back.

It’s so quiet on here.

Nerves?
Big time nerves!
Mainly just because we need the win for this team, for McGeeney, we need to beat a top team in the championship to give this group the Belief they have what it takes, Donegal always been our bogey team last 10/12 years. 2010 last time we beat them championship I think. Ard Mhacha Abu, buzzing for Sunday, side terrace filled to the brine with orange and white

Injuries possibly?

Wouldn’t take a named team as gospel. But assuming those are the 26 then that will be close enough. Maybe someone like Conor ONeill in for Grimley?
