Regarding Blaine and the whole covid thing, you would imagine that players would be vaccinated by now. Maybe he has an issue with getting the jab?

If the game does go ahead and I would agree with others that it should be postponed, you would think that younger players would cope better with the heat thus giving us an advantage.

I would imagine game will go ahead with minutes silence. Tough for the Monaghan lads today.

When the ball is thrown-in it'll be white hot championship stuff again. An Ulster Final would be huge for us - how I'd love to stick the Armagh flag on the chimney once again!

Come on lads!!!

Plenty fully vaccinated people are catching it. Doesn't stop you getting just reduces the impact.
I appreciate that but it would be uncommon in a young healthy fit person with both jabs. I'm not casting any aspersions in the least, just wondering.

Highly unlikely that a young healthy person will get ill from covid especially with both jabs. Maybe he is only mildly ill, maybe he’s only had one or no jab, who knows.

A young healthy fit person is as likely to get Covid as anyone else, although they may be less likely to be ill. You could have few symptoms, but be trusted as a contact because someone in your family had it, and you might then test positive and have to isolate so that you do not give it to anyone else.

This is how I would anticipate the conversation going...

GAA - "We don't want to change the game, we have sky coming to the game and the season is short as it is".

Armagh GAA - " Whatever Monaghan want to do we will be happy with it"

Monaghan GAA - Who knows what they are thinking. If I were Banty I would be fancying Monaghan chances against Armagh today with our first choice keeper out and no Forker.

Should be refusing

I think Armagh GAA should follow Monaghan's lead on this one. There would have been a lot of preparation that has gone into this game and I think Monaghan will be running on emotions even more than what they would have been already with their sponsor and u-20's captain dying within the same 7 day period. A lot happened in Kerry the other week when they played but they went ahead with their county schedule.

The game appears to be going ahead and Monaghan are favourites. How they play, who knows? Perhaps it won't effect them at all.
