Perspective is needed.

Yea performances havent been as good as we were expecting coming into the season, but we spent 2 years in division 3- there’s a big difference between beating the likes of Sligo and Offaly and playing super 8 teams.

We were a point away from beating Kildare -super 8s last year.
Robbed aginast Clare who are a better side than most give credit to.
Came back to a point against Meath, who are on the up.
And only beat by a point by the reigning ulster champions.
Not as much of a crisis as being made out.

HOWEVER, we must keep our division 2 status, which means supporters must SUPPORT the players/management these last 3 weeks. No point criticising management ticket, they’re there for the rest of the year whether you like it or not.

(As an aside, Armagh are one of most attacking teams in country, but it’s impossible to play a quick kick passing game against a team that puts 15 men behind the ball, patience is needed)
Can I give three likes to this?

I was at the minor games yesterday and AG does look a bit rough. Can't remember it like that in an awful long time.

I'd imagine it's possibly due to the MacRory final on the Monday and it needing to be in better shape for that and with Cross not having lights it possibly suits for that time. Mind you I always love the atmosphere in a packed Crossmaglen. It can be intimidating as everyone is close to the action. Might work for us.
Can we hire a helicopter to to fly over?

Very fine margins in this division and Armagh have been unlucky to date. Our reputation for bad tackling precedes us now but we aren’t helping ourselves with the amount of neck high challenges that we do make. Fermanagh will edge us for certain if we deliver their own game plan to them- contain a team until close enough to break out and buy a free by fair means or foul.

For me we still aren’t commiting enough men to attack and when we do overturn the ball we are having to recycle and recycle until we get men up the field. In the absence of Soup next day out, start Ethan Rafferty at FF and allow him to remain there for the quick outlet ball. Play Jamie alongside him as he remains our best chance of a goal and that is exactly what we need against Fermanagh.

So it looks like it could be all to play for in the final game agaibst Cork. And time for another Armagh strapline to promote the game, so what about "It's time to pop the Cork!" Thank me later!!

I like it. The gig is yours! ;)

Hopefully we can beat Fermanagh and are safe before Cork game. Maybe with the pressure off, we can play a bit.

I was unable to go to Ballybofey on Saturday night but listened for a while on Highland Radio. I had to turn it off and rely on twitter. The commentator Osin somebody and Martin McHugh were so anti Armagh talking about their over physicality etc. This type of nonsense gets into the minds of referees, especially the less experienced ones and justifies their soft frees to the opposition.

Disclaimer- wasn't at the match last night so feel free to ignore or lambast my comments.

A one point loss against the current Ulster champions in a match probably not too far from championship intensity. Yeah, right enough, sack the manager, his ineffective backroom team and the 4 or 5 players who aren't good enough. Doesn't matter which 4 or 5. That'll lead us to glory alright.
A bit touchy there?
Should we never mention the manager's record? No-one mentioned sacking the manager (except you). However now that you have brought it up..........imagine how we might we with this strong squad and good tactical brains on the line.
For later perhaps ( but that conversation needs to happen at some stsge).

What about - "It's time to burn the shit out of the Cork in the fires of a very nasty hell, really, really nasty, boyo"
