Big game in Armagh club football this week. Very unique across Ireland two clubs in the one parish, let alone meet in a final.. whats the early predictions??

Both teams at full strength i take it. No big injuries or sending offs in weekend games??

Unique alright, a lot of flags up and I’d say both teams are relishing the final but at the same time slightly nervous. A lot of friendships, family relationships etc will be put to one side for an hour or so on Sunday. Both teams know each other inside out, will have a plan for the danger men and what it will come down to is who wants it more on the day. League form counts for nothing. Both teams can beat each other. Hunger and desire will win this one and I’m just hoping we come out on the right side.

If our lads perform even 90% I can't see us losing. We have the players to do damage and lads to come on who can change a game. That said it doesn't win you fook all. St Paul's to their credit are a hard working side but I believe we are better in all the key match ups. It should be a great spectacle and it has created a nice edgy buzz around the town. This game will literally split families as a lot of St Paul's members find their roots in the blue and white. I hope and pray the man in the middle lets the game flow and the players get on with it. He has a tendency to make it all about himself. Looking forward to it and the county minor final against cross tomorrow evening.

No disrespect to St Paul’s but I’d like to see Clans win. There’s something wrong about the Francis Street boys not being in the senior so I think it would be good to have them up.

Driving through lurgan yesterday and seeing both clubs flags hanging side by side on lamposts is a great sight and over the last 6 months for many of us it has been our ray of sunshine.. listening to soupy interview it hit home how big the final is. Best friends and families going head to head with each other as you said too.. really looking forward to sunday..

There wont be a keg of beer left in lurgan by the middle of next week when the bars open again.

Atheltic Grounds fall into 'BT60' postcode, this mean this weekends finals are now going to be postponed or moved venue?
Oh dear. That's a good point, although I think the announcement did mention that events are unaffected. Fact is stranger than fiction these days!

It mentions group of 6 outdoor. Maybe im wrong.. surely the lurgan final will be played in lurgan if armagh city is out of bounds. Possibly the junior final in cross.. would hate to see them behind closed doors.

You really need to read the restrictions - it's household related
