Dublin are finished. I don't think they would be able to beat anyone in the top 2 divisions bar Down.
Even a fourth division outfit like Cavan would give them a game. Good that we beat them in Croke Park, their games next year will be in Parnell Park.

Not good for us though because we do not know where we stand. Our very good performance last week could potentially be due to Dublin being incredibly woeful. I stand by previous comments that we could have beat Dublin by more but because we didn't it concerns me.

We have to remember that Dublin in the first half scored a very fortuitous goal only for a needless black card ruling it out.
Dublin went to 14 men and Kerry, with the wind, took full advantage.

Last week we played Dublin in their home ground.
Let's see where teams are after playing 4 games and the southern teams play Ulster teams

Jaysus lads I tend to agree with Joe here. Looks like we could take them Kerry boyos in a heartbeat!!

Seriously though, none of it really matters. Last week's result is now history and we move on to a new challenge and game tomorrow. Them'uns got an absolute hammering in the league last year and look where they ended up.

They WILL play the ref tomorrow, but he usually doesn't take crap - not from us either for those that remember, but we will need 10 times the composure we had last week, because they 100% will be out to rile the lads. I caught a comment from Fergal Logan on the radio this week when he said "the enemy, I mean the rivalry....." but it wasn't just a slip as far as I'm concerned. It was the play acting beginning. Geezer knew Dessie and his tactics well. He will know Dooher and co just as well.

I'd love to say this will be a win and move on, but I'm a messer, not daft.

Haven't seen any of today's games, just the scores. Looks like Dublin played better in the second half again. It would be nice if we could close this one out early and not let them back into it, but sadly I think @PatMustard and co will need the shocky paddles and air mix.

No, but it is good that Dublin were playing today. McGeeney now has the basis for sending them out with the message that they have not beaten a reasonable team yet. Complacency was always a risk and the "new" Armagh defence relies on a ferocious workrate.

Dublin had the wind in the second half and Kerry mainly tried to keep them at bay without pushing on.

In recent years, we’ve performed well, then badly next game, but I hope we’re at the stage now where we’re able to back up a good performance with another.

I would say a lot of us are cautiously optimistic.

We cannot avoid the game so we might as well go out and play to our strengths like last week regardless of how bad Dublin are, we still put in a really good performance and it's these steps that allow us to go on to bigger things. We have played Tyrone a few times in the last 2/3 years be it the McKenna cup or League and those games have been tight. All we can ask for is a fair game and performances to back up last week.

Every game is a different game. Hopefully the Dubs get their act together and take some points off our rivals!
Tomorrow is a big game for us. We are sitting in a different place to Tyrone who are behind fitness wise etc. It's a game we should be winning really considering the circumstances. Tomorrow eve we'll be either discussing a possible league semi or trying to work out where our next points are coming from!!

Has anyone an indication of attendance? Last week the crowd was totally overstated, but they must have a fair idea of the actual number. I was thinking of going to the shed side.

Today's game v Tyrone is the 115th occasion that the counties have played each other. This statistic incorporates games played in the Ulster and All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, National Football League, Dr. McKenna Cup, Dr. Lagan Cup, O’Fiaich Cup and Jubilee Cup. (This stat does not include walkovers for Tyrone in NFL and O’Fiaich Cup)

This will be the 10th NFL meeting between the counties at the Athletic Grounds. Armagh have peviously won 4, Tyrone 3 and two games have been draws.

This is the 25th NFL meeting overall between the counties. This statistic does not include the scheduled encounter in 1972 which was awarded as a walkover to Tyrone. In the games that have been played, Armagh have won 12, Tyrone 7 and five draws have occurred.

Armagh have won 52 games out of the 114 played against Tyrone in all competitions, Tyrone have won 48 and the counties could not be split on 14 occasions.

Armagh have not beaten Tyrone in the Athletic Grounds at Senior level this century, their last success being the 1999 NFL encounter. Despite going down to 14 men in the opening half, a Diarmaid Marsden goal helped Armagh to a narrow 1-8 to 0-9 success to qualify for the latter stages of the competition.

An Armagh goal on Sunday will be their 160th ever scored against Tyrone.

Armagh met Tyrone first in the NFL in 1927 at Dungannon. Tyrone led 0-2 to 0-0 at the turnaround through McGee and McLernon but two second half Toner points earned Armagh a share of the spoils.

Armagh’s biggest success over Tyrone in the NFL came in a Dr. Lagan Cup game in 1937. This was the provincial route to the latter stages of the League and goals by McSherry (2) and Jack Reid steered the Orchard County to a 3-9 to 0-2 success.

Tyron’s biggest success in the NFL against Armagh came in 1973, when Patsie Hetherington notched 1-6 at Lurgan as Tyrone outscored the home county by 2-15 to 1-4.
