Wasn't a line up I was expecting. McKay and Clarke to come back as well. Hopefully this is the start of a bit of depth and a real push forward.
I hate to be the one to say it but, I’d be surprised if that team starts

was listening to Colm Parkinson's podcast on Joe.ie and they were talking about how important the attacking mark could be - with that in mind would Ethan Rafferty be an asset at some point in the game??? I know he's had a stop-start, inconsistent county career but maybe this could be his calling???
A few surprises if that is the team.
Could be a very open full back line.
I hope we do not underestimate Cavan - we need to start with a win.

why didnt we come out and say suspended and all this hidden crap. I'm sure Cavan will have known but it's the supporters left in the dark

Good luck to the lads tonight , bookies have us past the post probably because Cavan are missing McVeety , Mackie among others and this makes me nervous but looking at the other teams player losses , our home fixtures I think we have a right of getting promoted, but one game at a time a win tonight’s a must .

On a separate note, watching old matches there on the tv and the amount of flags was great. Think the occasion of going to matches is less without them now

I bring my flag to all the Championship matches, it's been on the telly quite a few times
I have to agree though far fewer flags these days. There was a rule brought in a few years back re. the size of bags, flags etc. allowed in to Croke Park but I don't think it lasted too long or at very least it wasn't properly enforced.
