Think was what 26 in 2nd before they scored. Goal was a free out then at end. Have to say Paddy Burns did a great job for a man with little or no football due to injury in over a year.

Bigger challenges ahead but nice start heading Portlaois

Overall, very pleasing performance tonight. Not sure if Cavan are poor or were simply made to look poor. Two points to build on heading to Laois - we carried the ball into traffic on too many occasions and at times, particularly in the first half, Cavan were able to cut through the centre of our defence. That said, we were physical throughout and have a healthy range of players who can take a score. Also, great to see the quality of players we were able to bring off the bench.

Onwards and upwards.

Good performance but your right Cavan very much weakened and they have a massive row in the camp. They trained 28 nights in a row before Christmas and a few players walked out and others fell out with management. Shadow of the team they were last summer. Wins a win I suppose
