Did you actually see what he got sent off for? Such a joke. Took his man on, handed him off and scored a point. Linesman called them ref to give him the second yellow. Bollix all in it at all.

The point I'm trying to make is that his general discipline is bad. He seems to pick up a customary yellow quite often. Do you think his discipline is good enough??

That was a great second half performance, after a strange one in the first half. I don't know why we played like we did for the majority of the first 35 minutes. We rallied toward the end of the first half and kicked some good scores, but I didn't think it would be enough with Kildare having the wind behind them in the second half. But we really dug in and showed great determination and character to pull away, despite having Clarke sent off for a ridiculous yellow card decision. The conditions were awful and we played ourselves into trouble sometimes because of it, which is understandable. Blaine Hughes had a couple of shocking kick outs that lead to scores, which he really needs to improve on, but in that weather he can be forgiven. There were brilliant performances all over the field and we could have had four goals and if we'd got one, it would have killed the game off sooner. Well done to the team and management and with the two week break now, we can get ready for the Westmeath game knowing that a win will be a massive step toward promotion.

Great win tonight, Armagh wanted it more. Defence played really well, have we found our full back in Aidan Forker? He was my motm with Riam O Neill. Also thought Nugent and Shields played really well. Jamie was unlucky to get sent off, we need to keep him on the pitch, every time he touched the ball he oozed poor class

Up Armagh

A team full if Intermediate and Junior players huh? Well those lads fairly stood up tonight.

A quality team performance and some excellent individual ones to boot. A tough night for young Turbitt but a good, necessary learning curve. Jamie was having an impact before being wrongly sent off.

Hughes a bit weak on kickouts alright but very difficult conditions to attempt to kick a ball out in so we'll bare that in mind.

A lot of the 'new members' from last week are very quiet! Well done team and management but nothing won at all yet. Mullingar in two weeks is a must win now to keep the Div 1 hopes alive.

Fair play to those Gael’s who went and out in the storm.

Fantastic 2nd half performance from the lads. Every player player their hearts out tonight, but a special mention has to go to Shields, Nugent and AF who didn’t give Flynn a sniff all game. Was great to seeing Donaghy come in with 10 mins to go a catch 2 high balls in at a time Kildare were lumping them in. Can’t wait for Mullingar - why does there have to be a week break :( Ard Mhacha abú

Absolutely brilliant win tonight. Delighted for everyone. My frustrations with this team is that I believe we have (by a distance) the best squad in this division and should be heading to division 1. This win keeps that alive.

Delighted

Great performance tonight in horrendous conditions & a very deserved win given as someone rightly said to me that we had to play Kildare, the conditions & the referee. The supporters wanted a reaction to last week's defeat & we certainly got it. As some pointed out last week we're probably not as good as the Cavan performance indicated but we're certainly not as bad as the Laois performance.

To play as well as we did in the 2nd half with 14 men (unjustified in my opinion) shows the fitness levels & determination of these boys. Huge congratulations to the management team & squad, it feels much better going into the break with 4 points & having restored our score difference to + 13.

I eagerly await the posts by members so quick to criticise last week, they don't seem to have been as swift in posting this week

By the way, am I the only person convinced that the ball was over the line for the goal?

Fair enough post , except for 2 points, I recorded the game on Eirsport, ball definitely not over line, and with being a Goldrick hater for many years looking at the playback especially in the 2nd half he give us some very tasty to say the least 50/50 frees... saying that he had nothing to do with us winning, we wer like a team possessed in the 2nd half.. every man was a credit to the jersey but Forker was imperious on Flynn.. onwards and upwards

Thought the performance was outstanding especially 2nd half! Nugent was very good.. players seem to be in great condition literally still full of running at the end! Could have had 4 goals tonight ! all positive don’t think anyone can say a bad word on that performance!

Very gutsy performance tonite in terrible conditions, second half we took the fight to them.on another nite we could have had 4 goals but it’s great that we are creating the chances. Forker, shields, Rian Oneill, Nugent were very good. I thought soupy was excellent. Jamie was going well before he picked up a second yellow . So congratulations players and management and let’s go to Westmeath and take home the two points.

The word you are searching for is entitled. I have no problem with people voicing their negative opinions as long as they willing to offer positive ones when they are deserved. As you are someone who regularly likes to complain about absolutely everything naturally you will always be keen to side with the naysayers.
