We would be destroyed by the likes of Donegal and Tyrone if we don't drop men back unfortunately on last night's showing.
I do think we will be in D1 next season and it may be a tough year for us up there. We will definitely lose more games than we will win and probably come straight back down.
It may sound crazy though but it will hopefully help long term in the development of this team. To have a realistic chance of competing in Ulster and becoming a regular in Super 8s in the future we have to be playing D1.
It will take patience though and may be the case of bouncing betweening D1 and D2 for 3 years before we find our feet in D1.
We have some super potential in Armagh - Jarly Og, 3 O'Neills & Turbo for starters. I would like to see Barry McCambridge and TK from CE about the squad. Is Cian McConville on the panel?
We have a right few who should be reaching their prime - Grimley, McKay, McCabe, Jemar, McElroy, Ethan - some of these lads need to step up a bit more.
We also have the experience (and hopefully leadership) the likes of Soupy, Grugan, Burns etc
There is potential in our county if we could just get it right.
